A sweet friends to lovers story that held me captivated with beautiful moments of real friendship between the main characters and although it's a story low on angst, it has it's elements of surprise and as any reliable person, both of the characters are having their insecurities and flows showed up throughout this lovely heartwarming love story.

I can't even review this book without giving spoilers but think about putting together a sexy as hell firefighter and a virgin heroine, they become neighbors and have a second chance at a relationship that left them thinking about each other for years after high school.
As usual, this book has Pippa's signature all over and my face is still hurting for so many moments that i laughed out loud.

There are many moments when your Kindle will be on fire from the sexy scenes and also the great banter and events in this another masterpiece from the authors.
Everyone has to read this book like yesterday because is one of the best lol and second chance romance story.

Be still my heart but Tanner is everything you want from a boyfriend, he is smart, kind, sexy, caring, and most of all his spirit is so free and wraps you up in his creativity.
I felt so hard for both of them, I felt sorry for her, I cheered her and also shouted at her for some stupid misconceptions but this is real life and who wouldn't have those feelings and insecurities?
Love finds a way to bloom in every situation no matter the age, place or social status.

Beautiful story with low angst, friends to lovers and the author is showing how much a friend means to those who are experiencing hard times in life such as alcohol issues and the betrayal of ex-fiances, how one is not ready to give up everything when they invested so much in that life but have to overcome all this so they can see a future and build another life with real feelings and learn to trust again. I am intrigued by the side characters and looking forward to the new books and love stories.

New to me author as well and just loved this story and the writing style. The author has a way to entice you in this world created by her characters with insecurities and flows as many real persons and the love story between our main characters is just great. As always the side characters are having their spot and even if they may think that how they act and what they do is for love and the well being of the other family member, they are not always right and have to give up and let them live their lives and make mistakes on their own.
A great love story, sexy scenes and wonderful characters. Read this book and you won't regret it.

If you have read Penny Reid before you already know that this book won't disappoint ever.
These two new characters are just perfect together, they set up a new world for us to discover in great writing like Penny always does and the scenes, the inner dialogue, the banter between them, all the awkward moments and also all the slow burn with so much chemistry between them will keep you on the edge from the beginning to the freaking end even if it's a cliffhanger.
No spoilers because you really want and have to read this book no matter what.
Another masterpiece from the reidromance.

In the last months, i rarely read historical romance lately and from time to time i need an escape. I am so glad i finished The Earl's irresistible Challenge because what a lovely story it is.
A very well written love story with two characters that accepted their fate and haven't thought about falling in love at all. A story with suspenseful scenes about how much an old scandal can destroy a family future in the Regency era and when some of the real reasons and facts are discovered, people won't believe them that easy.
Lucas is a lord as any lord in that era and although he joined the Home Office to have all the available requisites to demonstrate that his father was unnecessarily blamed for a scandal that took place a long time ago, he is smart and has built a wall around his heart as he can't trust anyone anymore,but that wall is easily broken piece by piece by Olivia, our genuine heroine who has no other reason than restore the good fame of her godfather family after his suspicious death.
A great story where love makes its way in a heart of two characters that without wanting fall for each other.

When I started reading this book I went blind because I haven't read the blurb or anything else and I just finished reading it and 😱
I LOVE IT
So glad that I have the Legacy of Lies otherwise I would be grumpy and would message Tara about it for sure.
I love the world created in this book, it had a Gossip Girls vibe with the Debutant Season and all the luxury and fancy things around it. As for the love story, I could not be happier that Jolie and Tripp fell in love with each other but also very sad for what happened with their families and how they had to break apart because of them.

This is the first book that I've read by the author and won a giveaway of it.
It's a great story about ones discovering and accepting the way we are and how we think about everything surrounding us, our past, present and future, the persons that were there along with s the journey of our life from childhood till adult life when you think more about your future and with whom and how you really want that future to look like.
I liked the writing and the story overall, maybe i wanted more for the relation between the main characters to be developed, to get more about their scenes together, but that is just me.
A different kind of story from your normal romance books but worth your time nevertheless.

This book has everything you want for a love story meant to happen no matter how many years pass until the chance to even dream of a future together is happening.
In Throne of Lies we know that the couple had to go on their ways regardless of their feelings because of their families business and what hell came after the news broke about that business. Both Tripp and Jolie had to go separate ways and leave New York to find their way in life and live without the fancy lifestyle they were used to.
Ten years after that, they both go back to the city where they were born and lived, where they fell in love and dreamed of a future together. Jolie is a well-paid model and Tripp has his own business. Their second chance at love starts with a kiss that melted my heart because of the settings and the way each one of them felt, all the years they have been apart forgotten in an instance and giving in to each other.
No real love story is without twists and turns ,and the ones that goes between them will keep you on the edge of you seat not wanting to put the book down just to find out what will happen next and how all this is going to solve because there were times when you just can't predict what will happen (like in other stories).
Sexy scenes, great banter, angst and turns that keep you on the edge, this book has everything for a great read and a love story that proves once again that love will go a long way when it's real.
