“Because sometimes a girl doesn’t need a hero to save her. Sometimes she needs the opposite.”
I love a Beauty and the beast retelling and this one was the perfect romance in my card.

Having read other titles by the author in the past, I knew what I was getting from this story.
What I didn’t expect were my emotions while reading it. Its a long story and the main topic made me stop a few times and give myself time to think and breath because I still can’t believe that this is based on a true crime real life story.
I haven’t read many true crime books in my life because I always preferred fiction more than anything but every now and then, there will be a story that will grab my attention more than I can imagine and that’s what happened with this one.
Starvation heights is a story about greediness, gore practice and how easy people will fall for someone else’s lies and preaches.
I can’t believe that two well known sisters from the UK have gone so many miles away just to find themselves trapped inside a horrible place. I don’t understand how the locals just got along with it all after seeing so many bodies being burned or buried and haven’t raise any questions.
What I did want to know more was about how so called Dr Linda Burfield Hazzard ( see the name ? smart move imo ) got to get away with murder for so long and how she becomes that person. Her past and what triggered her to do those things aren’t very clear in the book so I’m assuming that’s for me to look it up.
It took me a few weeks to finish it but I don’t regret anything. It was interesting and twisted, it was great to build up to that finale and i would definitely recommend it to any true crime lovers.
Very grateful to the publisher @ for my review copy

Jill Shalvis has always written beautiful stories that touched me. From characters that work hard in finding themselves and what they want from life, to romance stories that bring a smile on my face.
The backup plan is no different than that.
Alice, Lauren and Knox are all given a second chance to discover their true meanings in life and become friends once again after so many years apart.
Knox had no idea how Alice felt about him years ago and I’m so happy to see how the friendship between Lauren and Alice has become stronger and more insightful. I guess it comes with age that their growth has changed them as adults.
The romance between Knox and Alice filled my heart with joy because it’s beautiful, a slow burn and a great banter.
It’s sad that they come together because Eleanor passed away but it’s beautiful to see how their lives changed in willing to come together and stick to the plan of rebuilding the beautiful B&B.
Perfect for any romance lovers.
Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy and for my place in this blog tour.

I wish the author would change the cover and rerelease this title because it was so amazing
After seeing this title around a lot and noticing that it’s a Reese’s Book Club , I knew I had to read it asap.
I must say that I found myself immerse in the story. It’s chaotic in parts but it all makes sense in the end. The timelines are easy to read and the characters are even easier to relate to.
I think it would make for a great movie and I’ll be curious to see who would play Maya and Frank.
I loved learning more about her father’s family.
The YouTube video made for an interesting start of the book and I held my breath when he confessed what his father was doing.
I’m happy that everything turned out good for Maya and that she had David to support her in the end. And I loved her mother.

After the brutal cliffhanger, i was so happy to see that I’ll get the sequel so soon so I can glue the pieces of my broken heart back into it’s shape.
And now I want a pendant as Cal made for Lucy.
His pov was so raw and I lived that we get his side of the story in the end. There’s so much sadness and emotions and fear of showing what he really feels and to actually be the man he can be for her. But that shell he is huffing behind, is finally broken and I love how beautiful he shines.
Their love story is not easy and their Road to that well deserved happily ever after is pressed with lots of obstacles but they both work hard for it.
Beautiful, raw and hopeful romance

As the description says, it’s a blockbuster story. A few years ago, I’ve seen some of his books on here, people raving about them and how good they are and how he’s a must read author.
After I read my first book, I never looked back and read more from his back catalogue or watched all the Netflix show. I must admit that I loved The innocent because I miss living in Spain , it was a total different experience and Mario did a great job in playing Mat.
Now back to I will find you. This is another must read story that hopefully will be made into a series because it has everything you can dream for a perfect on screen plot.
The father that will do everything and anything to save his son.
I couldn’t grasp why Rachel wanted so bad to make him believe his son is alive . And then all the run and hide ride. The dialogue flows easily, their thoughts intertwining with suspenseful scenes that kept me on the edge.
I didn’t liked Cheryl at all. I know I should probably understand her for trying to build a new life after 5 years since she lost both her son and husband in that terrible night, but she just gave me strange vibes all along.
The fertility clinic and all the DNA tests were unpredictable and the actual truth , that epic ending left me gasping and speechless.
A must read book that will take you on a roller coaster with adrenaline rushing through your veins at the fast pace that this story goes.
In other words, prepare yourself for a wild ride with the author’s mark all over the story.

I’ve been reading Ashley’s books since 2017 and I can never get enough of her stories.
The Choice is book one in The Star-crossed Lovers Duet and one that I loved so much.
Being the first book, it’s a slow burn romance that takes us on a ride from the beginning of Skylar and Memphis romance.
We’ve met them both in The worlds and I was so excited when I heard that she’s going to write their books.
I loved how real and angsty and heart wrecking some of the scenes are, exactly as I was expecting from her.
Memphis might be a big boy but damn, his past is a wreaking ship and I needed a minute to recollect from that.
I hate cliffhangers with all my heart but I know that some stories need it for us to read the full version of it and I can’t wait to read the conclusion.
It’s unexpected, angsty and steamy. Just how I love them.
