Greece is probably one of the most sought holidays spot for various people around the world.

Sue Roberts has a gift with describing every single detail of the scenery to an i.

The beaches, the homes, hotels, walks with beautiful flowers everywhere and the tasty famous food that will leave you wanting to eat or taste something similar right away.

The story starts with our heroine Orla, overcoming a life-changing moment. This will lead to her going on a hunt for buried secrets in the beautiful place where her family used to spend their summers years.

I found the story going at a slow pace, with a long awaited short or interfering romance side story.

Grumpy/sunshine type of characters are always my favourites and this couple gives that in spades.

Overall, I think it is an uncomplicated afternoon read that any reader will enjoy if you are seeking a woman's fiction story.

What a sweet, slow burn romance story.

My all-time favourite classics book is of course Beauty and the Beast. And this story is definitely a more or less retelling of it. Even if the cover might suggest a Romeo and Juliet type of story, or at least for me.

Grumpy-sunshine type of characters, with great dialogue and quite an unexpected one I would say, a slow burn that brings so sufficient emotions on the page and a sweet, well deserved happily ever after romance.

Izzy and Beau are that couple that will stay with you for a longer time. Mostly because their story is not one standoffish or with an overcoming past or other dramas that they need to pass so they can look forward to a better life. Theirs is simple, beautiful and hilarious.

City of windows was one of my favourite books of the year when it came out and I was looking forward to read Do no harm. You can understand my excitement when I get my hands on it.

Lucas is such a prolific character. From an ex-FBI agent to an astrophysicist, professor and a father that adopted 5 children, he is a man of various faces, but one with a big heart.

When some unexpected murders strike close to home, he cannot just stay put and do nothing, especially when his wife might be the next victim of a ruthless killer.

This is one of those books that includes psychological elements and police procedural at its best. And the building up suspenseful moments never cease throughout the pages.

I was so invested in this story that I felt like nothing around me existed anymore and I was there, along with the characters, to searching for clues and hidden secrets to find the killer. That’s how engrossing this story goes.

I can’t recommend this book enough to all thrillers lovers.

I enjoyed so much the previous books by this author and was looking forward to read this one as well.

She delivered a swoon worthy romance with great characters, some trials, mischievous moments and a beautiful romance overall. So much push and pull between them that made me laugh and smile throughout the story.

If you are seeking a great romance book, look no further than this book. It might be one of my favourite 10 romances of the year.

The serial killer’s wife was a page turner for me so I was excited about this sequel.

I enjoyed the suspense and how the author has created a thrilling story with twists that hold up my interest at all times. Mostly because I really wanted to see for myself if my theory was right. And it was, and that’s a nice feeling.

Jenny is the daughter of a serial killer. She is trying everything to make her past stay there, in the past. But someone is not letting her go.

There are some similarities in a recent murder case that point out to a copycat of her father’s modus operandi. And that scares her more than anything.

It is twisted and gripping, a story that will make thriller readers enjoy it as a standalone, if not part of the series.

I'm speechless now after finishing this story. I think the author has such a great gift in writing a story so unbelievable but also one that touches so deeply. And intrigued the heck out of me.

Crazy scientists, women that live the other ones past and so much suspense and some gruesome scenes.

I honestly didn't know who to believe or even what to believe in the beginning. It really led me to think that this is actually a schizophrenic character that just makes up her whole story. But slowly, all the pieces of this intricate puzzle fell into place.

The suspenseful moments kept building up, and that ending was really satisfying for me. I still have unanswered questions about Savannah and Skye and about Haley and her past.

I would recommend this story to any twisted thrillers lovers.

The last Protector was a big hit for me.

I was looking forward to seeing where the author is taking Clayton White next.

Greediness can come off in various forms and ways, more for some, and sometimes, it is intertwined with family drama and other twisted mindsets.

In this second instalment of the series, we get to interact with so many unpredictable and unexpected turns, I would say. I just couldn't believe the length of some people they will go to achieve that power.

The story is fast-paced from the beginning and never ceases till the last page. It's suspenseful, with some romance elements and as expected some violent scenes. But that's what it actually makes it a stellar read.

Powerful, intriguing and twisted, that's how I would recommend this book.

Mixed feelings maybe?
I enjoyed the previous two books by the author but this one was a bit odd, to say the least. From the beginning I got a strange vibe of who the doctor is and why is he willing to help a stranger woman and her daughter to stay in one of his apartment for almost free? And then all the things that are happening around the said house and their previous habitants. I couldn’t get closed to any of the characters, unfortunately, maybe a bit of the little girl but that’s it.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t a good book for me.

Fun, flirty and romantic. That's how I would describe this: enemies to lovers, office romance story.

Charlie and Bennett are so good for each other. She tried to get over her ex-boyfriend and catch him cheating on a dating app.

He wants to live more and his sister is setting him up on the app as well.

So of course they met and what happens next is just a crazy, hilarious and steamy roller coaster.

Some miscommunication towards the end, but it is all resolved as it should be.

I loved the mix of characters, how supportive the secondary characters are for the main ones, how the story never stalls and just keep at a great pace with the romance part and hilarious scenes.

Being a debut novel, I think it has been executed with great talent.

I’m looking forward to seeing where the author is taking us next on her journey.

This was a “Read Now” arc, and it picked my interest as I usually live most of Montlake’s titles.

The stem heroine is so high now on almost every romance and adds a single dad, billionaire male character, what more can you want from a romance story?

I actually needed much more. The heroine might be well read and smart In her career wise, but daily interaction of situations, not so much in my opinion. And I think that's kinda realistic sometimes.

The romance story starts as a slow burn and what brings them to the actual dating and more, it is definitely building up to some high expectations. But unfortunately those expectations aren't really met for me. Closed door scenes and some felt quite forced on the reader.

Overall, this might be a great woman fiction story with a dash of romance that some readers will enjoy, but it is nothing memorable for me, unfortunately.
