I loved A brush with love and I was so looking forward to read this new story by the new to me author, Mazey Eddings .
I loved this book so much.
I think I lived it so much because I could relate to Lizzie on so many levels even if everyone is different and some of the things her mind take a trip on aren’t even realistic, it actually makes sense to me.
I know it’s not a book to be read in a few quick hours because I wanted to devour it and actually take my time with each chapter and actions.
Rake is my favourite hero. He is so unexpected and understandable, and most of all, he wants to take the time and learn and get to know Lizzie as she is, with the good, the bad and the ugly true at times.
I think it’s a great story that many will enjoy as much as I had.

I enjoyed the previous books of the aura d was looking forward to read this new story.

The cover says a lot about this book. I love a good enemy to lovers novel and this one didn’t disappoint. That push and pull interaction is always there. The sexy times are just fire and their “enemies with benefits deal “was exactly how I was expecting to be. Full of sarcasm and humour, full of steamy scenes and that realisation that there’s much more to this than just a fling type of relationship.

I like when couples from previous books are making appearances and while it sounds like an easy fluffy read, it also touches some important topics.

Perfect for any reader of great romance stories.

A sweet romance story told in alternative pov, with characters that make me want to be their friend in real life and sometimes to even give them a real talk or a hug.

Both Jack and Rebecca have a lot on their plate and while trying to wave through their busy life, there’s a spark of what ifs between them from the moment they met. Even if the start is not exactly what you will think, the story takes us into a learning to know each other and ending into that fine line between friendship and feelings stronger than that. Now, Clive? That’s someone that I want just for myself.

A heartwarming romance that all fans of the genre will enjoy.

I finally found some time to listen to The bodyguard and I honestly don’t know why I waited so long to start it.
I loved it. Like every single second of it.
And probably what I loved the most is that it’s definitely not a fluffy rom com , enemies to lovers like the cover might suggest.
It delves much more into finding pace with the past for both Hannah and Jack. And I loved that she’s the one that saves the date and always makes him smile.
Fake relationship is really becoming my favourite trope and this book shows why I started to love it so much.
If you haven’t read it yet, what are you waiting for?

Audiobook through audible

I have read none of the previous books by the author and I’m happy that I chose this novel.

I loved the writing, pace and characters.

A retired cold cases detective found himself in the middle of a crime investigation in a small location where he was running the village's pub.

From the first chapter, o got drawn in the conversation and the characters’ life. The banter in each scene was so on point and tell a story on its own. The romantic relationships are a big part of the story, especially since our main character is still heartbreak from his last girlfriend. A new relationship is making way to his heart and sight, but there's always something hidden underneath that wishful look. She is a well-known widow with family inheritance. It's only normal that her son will want to protect his mother for predators.

In comes the secondary characters that will bring more shiny to Henry’s arc development.

The investigation was so well done and while I had my theories on who the villain was, I still haven't seen some of the twist.

Fast-paced, suspenseful and a must read story.

Thrillers and romance are my kryptonite and when Sky Warren and Amelia Wilde decide to unite forces, I’m in heaven. These two will always feed my cravings for suspense reads filled with sexy moments.

Force of nature has me engaged from the first page to the last.

The Crash started off with a bang and their first encounter had me all giddy with excitement because I knew I was in for a ride.

“When he kissed me, I could fly.”

What follows next was really unexpected and I couldn’t turn the pages faster.

Talk about steam out if this world! That chemistry is highly felt throughout the pages but this duo managed to make me blush in the most unexpected way.

And while I hate cliffhangers and that ending, I can’t wait to read the next books because I need so much more from these characters!

Arc review

I have received an arc of this book and i leave a honest review because i loved it.
I have read the book in one day.
It’s book 2 in the series A broken heart

My first book by the author and a very good one.
It’s a fast-paced romantic suspense with very steamy moments of a second chance romance and a secret child, a family drama and some unexpected twists and turns. Very good writing style and kept me engaged from the first page to the end.
I’ll definitely read more by the author and will recommend this book.

Such a great start to a new series. Addictive from the first chapter to the end.
This story was published years ago, and it really shows why the author is so loved and why his novels are a must read ones.

I enjoyed The Bat and the police procedural plot-line was really interesting to see developing. More so, the multicultural crush was a great addition. The twists came at the right points at all times. The characters have grown throughout the book and I really enjoyed seeing Inspector Harry Hole in his element.

I’m looking forward to read more in this series as there are quite a few books out now.

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy

Ilsa at her best and more so Beauty and The best retelling. Beautiful, charming even and so much heart and love

My favourite book has always been Beauty and the Beast and when I’ve seen that one of my favourite authors is writing one, I couldn’t wait to read it.
Ilsa never disappointed me in any way! I’ve read almost I’ll of her books and this one is like the cherry on top ! It ticks all my boxes for a Must Read romance story!
Beautiful writing, great characters, amazing chemistry and steamy scenes and a happily ever after that worked its way through a lot throughout the book.

My favourite book of the year
