In the last years, I’ve read a few of the author's stories and they always left me with a smile on my face.

I'm a huge fan of second chance romance and this book ticks all the marks in my cards.

We get to read what happened then, ten years ago when they divorced, and the nowadays story when Charlotte is back in town and everything changes at full speed.

Trying to run away from a stalker because she's a well-known author, and he thinks she's the main female character in this world.

Reigniting those sparks between her and her ex-husband, Cade, it wasn't in the plans. But he's not one to take a step back and while he proves he's worth of her love, he also has to recognise that his heart belongs to her.

Beautiful romance story that will fill your heart with love and swoon worthy characters. Perfect for any romantic reader.


Arc review

I haven't read Shiver yet, but I have it high on my list now.

The story focuses on Kenna and her trip to Australia. A group of friends are going on a trip to a well-isolated place, perfect for surfing and out of the peeing eye. Like any other young adults, they like to party and enjoy the moment. But not everything is so easy or carefree as it seems.

They all have secrets and some will do anything and everything in their power to keep those secrets buried.

This was such an immersive experience overall. I loved how the author is describing each detail with easiness and captivating at the same time.

The suspense is building up slowly, and the ending is definitely a twisted one. There are still many loose ends that I don't think we will ever get the answers, but that's ok.

Overall, it's such a great story many readers will enjoy!

I haven't read many YA or teens books every so often, but I found this story really interesting and enjoyable.

I guess what I liked most of it was the awareness that not everyone is the same.

And those exact traits that make teens different are the things that I love the most. The years that shape personality and encouragement are the most important things we can do and the characters in this story are just so great at that.

I loved how everything feels so reliable and not sugarcoated. There are moments in the teens’ life that are messy and they aren't taking the easy or right decisions, but that shows how they will deal with those consequences afterwards.

It's a very well written and fast-paced story that many readers will enjoy.

Karin Slaughter is back with a riveting story that will make you turn pages faster than Bolt.

The girl forgotten is a young woman who was killed forty years ago and her murderer is still out free.

Being the new Marshall, Andrea Oliver has her first case set up on thin ice.

The judge she has to protect for death treats is actually Emily’s mother.

Trying to solve this cold case out of the eagle eyes of her superiors, Andrea is providing to be a great detective.

There are many loose ends in this case. The interrogations she has done to the old circle of friends are bringing to surface secrets deeply buried.

The suspense builds up quickly when her birth father is proven to be tied up in the case.

This is another must read story that will make thriller readers devour it in one sitting!

The description of this story had me intrigued from the second I’ve read it and when I got to the 25% mark, I was so hooked that I couldn’t put it down!

Just like most stories, it started slowly, but it picks up quickly at a full speed limit.

So many unexpected turns and twists. Revenge and hate can really change people into something else altogether.

How the revenge is plotted is so unexpected, and the story itself it’s something different from what I usually read.

That being said, I was intrigued to see how it will end. My theories were all over the place as the author has built a world where you are given so many variables.

A must read story that needs to be discovered and discussed!

I have just discovered this author and I’m so happy that I took a chance on this story. It’s a ride that makes me want to read more and crave that rush of adrenaline!

These two are just perfect as a team. They are so well drawn and complete each other in everything.

The suspenseful moments are perfectly planned, and the suspense is building up with each new chapter.

I loved how the author is mixing the investigation with some personal life snippets and that’s what I’m always looking forward in any story. It just makes the main characters much more reliable and realistic.
This is a must read story that I highly recommend!

Sweet and short audiobooks

Another quick and short romance that is as unexpected as lovely

When it falls apart is a wonderful start of a new series. The author is well known for her immersive story telling, where flawed characters find their lows and highs throughout this world that she created.

Many of her stories are very reliable and this one did not differ from her past ones.

Brooke is going back to her hometown, where life is not what she was expecting. Having to deal with an ailing father and meddling mother, she needs to take a breather.

And that break is found in the arms of a single dad, Luca.

Luca’s family is bigger and welcome Brooke with open arms.

I loved all these secondary characters’ interaction and how the meaning of a real Italian family is shown through them.

Big family gathering, delicious food and always there for each other.

A beautiful story about a second chance at love and life that will warm your heart.
