I'm a mood reader and this story came at the right moment for my cravings for suspenseful stories.

Intriguing from the beginning, the characters are not likeable at all, in my opinion.

I felt like Emily deserved more my sympathy for caring more than she let out for her father and his well-being, even if she had to stay away for a longer time.

My first impression of Francoise was that this is one is up to no good. And that's probably the way the author wanted us to believe as well.

Rounding up, none of them are trustworthy and while their secrets and interaction are reliable enough, that long expected twist at the end felt really flat for me, unfortunately.

An intriguing story with unlikeable characters that kept me invested enough to read it in one sitting.

Beautiful, heartwarming romance story that made me want to bake late into the night while reading it.

I loved the characters and their interaction and throughout the story they grown so much. Loved it

Iris, a widow that lives alone and needs companionship and someone to take care of her, Lydia and Seth, her newly founded caretakers and the police investigators. These are the main characters in the story.

Told in dual timelines, we get thrown in a world that is as confusing at the beginning as it’s intriguing.

I was really invested in the story and wanted to know where this will take us because there were so many questions and actions that I didn’t see where everything will tie up in the end.

I felt bad for Iris because she had clear signs of early dementia and she didn’t always know who to trust or what to do next was heartbreaking.

She’s the only character that I got close to in this story, though. Neither Lydia nor Seth made me trust them from the first time they have been introduced.

The ending was really unexpected and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to read an intriguing domestic thriller .

I love the author’s stories. They always make me smile and knowing that I’ll be finishing with a heart full of love and emotions, I’m always up for whatever she will publish next.

The friendship pact is the second instalment in her Sunrise Cove series and can be read as a standalone with no issues. I will always recommend reading the first book as some characters are making appearances and being a new series, gives you an insight into this new world.

Living her life wondering who’s her father is and trying to make a living and find her foot in this adult life, Tae is a great character that I really enjoyed reading about. Her relationship with her mother is not always straightforward, but it feels very real and interesting. How April had Tae despite her predicament was really heartbreaking, but also showed how much she loved Tae.

Tae is on the brink of bankruptcy and her dreams are taking a big turn when she takes a new contract on her job that will change her personal life in more ways than expected.

While she still wants to keep her past buried but she can’t deny the chemistry and attraction towards Riggs. He just stole my heart! Such a great male character and supportive, caring and loving. Even when he actually finds out who her father is, he is all about protecting her and making sure she’s safe and won’t get hurt, not even emotionally.

Beautiful romance story that will fill your heart to the brim.

This story sounded so great and that cover definitely made me decide to request it Asap.
I enjoyed the banter and quirkiness of them together.
She’s really down to earth and when they have to actually go on a date , she freaks out about how her mother will behave in front of him.
That’s the most reliable thing that I always love to read in romance books.
Baking and cooking are definitely Teo separate and different kind of jobs and these two show it in spades.
I really felt the chemistry and loved how they both are flowed characters that grow and still try to find themselves even when their life it’s turner upside down.

If you’re looking for a romance story, let it be this one!

I haven’t read many if any sci-fi books in my life, but this story was so well done that I haven’t felt like I’m losing my mind at all.

The suspense and twists, the characters and their interaction, along with some of the more reliable scenes and settings, made me read it in one sitting.

Working for the government, Logan has to fight against a biotech company that will devastate the world as he knows it. Lots of science and special effects I might add in this story, but they all just fascinated me because I’m quite the snob about it. Swing Logan transforming into this human 2.0 person was surreal and made me think of the all school RoboCop movie.

The author has a great gift in creating a world that feels real and intriguing without missing a beat. It’s really that captivating and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone that wants to get lost in a perfect story.

It's so fast-paced and addictive that you wouldn't want to miss it!

I’m in love with this cover and story.
It’s heartbreaking in many ways but also so heartwarming and fulfilling.

A story about grief, reconnect and finding truths that were long buried in another country that might as well feel like a piece of heaven at times.

Sophie tries to discover some parts of her mother’s story that she had no idea about it. And that will take her to a idilic place where she can find pace with herself but also unexpected love.

I’m a huge fan of second chance romance and this one definitely strikes all my boxes with what I love in a story.

That one-night stand between Caleb and Evie became a thing of the past when he finds out who she was. Caleb won’t allow Himself to fall for his best friend’s sister even if his restraints are pushing his limits hard.

Eve is such a great heroine. I love how she won’t take anything from anyone and their banter is so hilarious. The bet was definitely a twisted one, and I loved how it actually brought them closer. It also shows what kind of trust and feelings they both have towards each other and the friendship blooms into full steamy romance when the healing time is up.

M. Robinson delivers another great romance.
