Twisted, intriguing and a page turner story, that’s how I would sum up this book.

There’s no such thing as a perfect marriage because you can never know what happens behind closed doors or in one’s past. What might sound or look perfect for one person, it could totally trigger something else in another.

This book was really interesting and great. I loved how the author combines the happy family facade with a not so great past and how the perception of what’s to show and act in front of others is so damaging inside.

Facing a murder trial from a reopening of a cold case , twenty years later, this story kept me on the edge throughout the pages and I really wanted to know if he was the culprit or not. I had my doubts of what actually happened then but I haven’t seen that ending coming my way at all!

A great twist to end a great story.

I wasn’t expecting that twist at the end at all. I mean, while everything evolves and we discover so many pieces of this intricate puzzle , I always had a feeling that something was amiss at all times. I found it very odd that the heroine was so laid back regarding a total stranger in her house and accepting her just because of her solidarity with another pregnant woman.
The author has managed to keep me intrigued throughout this page turner book because, as a mother, I’m always interested to see how a fictional character would act in certain situations.
Once again, I’m reminded that not everything is what it seems like and there’s always a two or even three side of a story.
A must read thriller for sure.

I don’t know if it’s my eternal love for historical romance or just my moods but I loved this book so much. I rarely go into paranormal/ fantasy stories and this one has the perfect amount of elements to keep me intrigued and not being overwhelmed with it overall.
I loved the family drama and friendship and loyalty displayed between Beatrice and her sisters.
Her romance story is just perfectly crafted with great banter and some suspenseful twists.
I loved how strong and willingly to discover a bride between her love for magic and the lifetime tradition of loosing her ability to practice that magic when she’ll get married.
It’s entertaining and full of interesting characters that stands out more than others , especially Lavan, he wasn’t at all what I was expecting, he was much more and better.
I hope there will be more books after this one because it has a great potential for a favourite series.

Spellmaker by Charlie N.Holmberg is available now and a great book that I’ve devoured in a few hours.
The second novel in the duet is available now, and I’m very grateful to the publisher for my review copy through NetGalley.

I loved it even more than the first one. It picks up exactly where the first book left and while we already know half of the conclusion; it develops much more regarding the overall view of the world build around the magic and cruelties done by the enemies. It also bounds Elsie and Ogden, they have to go with a plan for unveiling the truth and keep them safe.

I loved the historical romance part with all the banter and suspense, twisted moments and whimsical elements.

I’m not a big fan of fantasy books, but this one was one of my favourites and will recommend the duet on any occasion

A small town romance with beautiful soulmate characters and full of emotions and heartwarming love.
There are a few heartbreaking twists from the past that both have to overcome but, like in real life , it’s time to move on and give love a second chance.
Beautiful writing and great story , especially for the romantic readers.

I jumped in it immediately after reading the first book because I was intrigued by Felix and Maggie’s second chance romance and it was exactly what I was expecting. Plus a cute baby boy.

Kindle unlimited read

I haven’t read an author’s book in many years but i needed to switch something between my usual trillers and romance books.
I usually don’t enjoy slow burn and we all know that Mariana Zapata is the queen of them. Somehow though, I really enjoyed this book.
It gave me so many Virgin River feelings and the slow build up was just on point in here.
I smiled so many times at the quiet yet strong hero’s behaviour and all the messed up moments our heroine gets herself into.
Beautiful writing as always and a beautiful romance overall.

3.5 stars

I enjoyed the first book in the series and now To love and to Loathe is quite a fun game of “catch me if you can” type.
There are so many moments when I laughed out loud at their antics and how they both worked up on the story overall.
I can’t say that I got closed to any of them but it was an enjoyable experience all in all.
I do love a great historical romance and this one has a more unique and unusual plot as the heroine is a widow and therefore the book might not be for everyone’s taste.

I haven’t read the first book in the series so I had no idea who Naomi was. As usual, I love going blind into stories, especially romance books and I was intrigued after the first chapter that I had to read the whole book in one sitting.

Maybe it’s the different kind of story that involves two opposite attracts that got me so hooked or just the writing style, I have no idea but I did enjoy it all.

These two are so different in so many ways, never have I thought they could work together, but that’s the beauty of it all, they both worked along to demonstrate that it’s not all about other people’s conceptions and what the society is expecting or calling it a norm, it’s all about what they felt and lived while staying truth to their beliefs.

Full of chemistry and great banter, this unusual story is definitely a must read for all romance lovers that are looking for something new that pushes boundaries and fulfilling their heart with a well deserved happily ever after.

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy

I haven’t read the first two books but watched the Netflix series, both seasons and I must admit that I loved the movies and how the adaptation was. Because of that , I think my expectations were set quite high for You love me .
While Joe is the same psych that you hate but love and he has a new love interest along with all the twisted moments that are expected from the story, I must say that I was a bit disappointed in parts of it. But that’s just me and my beliefs that each hyped book is usually so good that I am going to love as well.
I am looking forward to see this one on screen though because it’s as compelling and interesting that will definitely be another hit for everyone.
