I found the language and the prose beautiful, I just did not love the plot as much as I had hoped to.
Trigger warnings for self harm - it is fantastic representation. This is one part of the book that I loved, the self harm rep was authentic and well done. It was addressed, but in no way shamed by other characters. That in and of itself almost was enough to take this book up another star level.

I LOVED this book. I marked it down because there were a few tidbits/treads of story that didn't end up going anywhere/did not further the story in any way. There was also a character arc that I didn't think was overly needed or fit into the over all narrative. These things would normally reduce a book at a 3 or lower for me, but the writing, characters and representation in this book was so fantastic that is barely even knocked it down by half a star rating for me.
I love Tiffany. I love her relationships, I love the complex dynamics of the other characters, I love the portrayal of mental illness', and I love the writing style.
Do I think that a lot happened and relationships shifted too much in such a short amount of time? Sure. Do I care? Not really.
I will devour anything else this author puts out!

LOVED this!
LOVED this!
I loved the majority of this! I do wish certain parts were not as rushed, but overall, poignant and well written.
I enjoyed this so much more than I expected I would. The plot was fast moving and intriguing, the characters were fleshed out without becoming to trope-y. I really identified with the anxiety rep, I think that was well handled and not too heavy handed. It exists, she persists. Really looking forward to continuing with the series!
