I absolutely love where this is going. We got more backstory on the Outsiders and Shive, which was really needed. Also we're learning a bit more about Teacher and what lengths he'll go to protect Shiva. Still dark, atmospheric, and wonderfully whimsical. I love this so much!

I just absolutely adore this story. The plot is fleshing out and some mysteries have been answered. But this volume was so much more heartbreaking than the first 2. So while we're learning new things about this world, this volume was a lot harder emotionally.
I follow the author on IG and love them! I wish the book was a bit longer, but I really liked the selection here. Particularly loved a lot of the comics in the Adulthood section.
Really enjoyed, and I hope that we get more collections in the future.

This was a cute(ish) seasonal read. I wasn't a huge fan of the MCs, especially Kennedy and his stalkerish behavior.
Also, it felt like this had so much packed into such a shorter story. With all the drama, I couldn't focus on one thing before the next item was introduced.
If you like hate to love and fake dating, this may be for you though!

This may have been my favorite volume yet, even though it was another rough one, emotionally. There was definite tension between Shiva and Teacher, but it was conflict that was so very needed. The plot is seriously thickening, and oh boy, we're getting some answers for a few things, but with each new answer, I seem to have more questions. Definitely looking forward to the next volume!
Well, this is a thing I read this month. It's a dual POV romance book (serialized maybe, cause it ends incredibly abruptly) about a college student who gets abducted to the fae realm.
And of course a fae king wants to bang her. Cause obviously.
However there's a significant lack of banging to be had here.

This started right where the first book left off, which makes sense cause that one ended mid fight. I like the world building, like the characters OK (though I'm not usually one to like alpha males, I'll give a pass since Leander is fae), and I'm gonna continue on with the series.
I don't like these mid-fight endings.

I wish I could give half stars because I'm not quite ready to hand out a four star for these, but this one was better than the first two. I'm really liking the world building and tensions (though I don't get them), and I like all the characters.
I don't know how this is going to come together, and I still have so many questions that are so far unanswered, and I still don't love these mid battle endings.

Teacher and Shiva just cannot catch a break! This story is unfolding so beautifully. I really appreciate the slower pace of volume in particular. It feels like we got a chance to breathe for a moment in this volume. But of course that ending means that volume 7 is going to be back to fast paced, and I'm here for it!
I enjoyed this collection a little bit more than the first one, and even though I'm not a fan of the format of the poetry, the content is so very relevant in today's society. And very necessary to exist, and I'm so happy that it does.
Several of these poems spoke to me on a very personal level, and I'll definitely pull this collection down when I need the words' as reminders.
