Why do I do this to myself? I knew way early on that I wasn't going to enjoy this story, but it was short, and I needed to read something...so I read this. It wasn't good at all, and I fucking knew from damn near page 1 that it was going to be a 1 star read.

I just like to torture myself I guess.

I'm not the biggest fan of modern poetry, but this was far more lackluster than usual. Probably because it was all on one topic (heartbreak) and seemingly around a singular relationship.

There's just no growth for the author here since they chose to stay stuck in this topic from page one to the very end.

What a charming read! Haha, get it? Get it? This had well-written characters, really good writing, and a fun story. It was such a fast read too - I flew through it. Some of it (a lot of it) felt a little far-fetched and there were times I was rolling my eyes a bit, usually when Prince Sebastian was around.

That said, I'm definitely going to look into the next book in the series.

This is an ongoing webcomic that I'm really enjoying. I love Andreas and Beau so freaking much!

This one's so hard to rate, because on one hand I really liked how everything honestly got wrapped up here, but on the other hand I actively hated the first 45% of this book, so it's like how do you rate 60% of a novella?

And the answer to that is, I'm going to give this 2.5 stars (rounding down). This was definitely my least favorite of the four novellas, and I don't think I'm going to continue with Beth and Gareth's story because of it.

Well, not anytime soon anyway. I need a break from this world, but I'll definitely try books from this author again.

I had so much fun reading this and learning about quite a few obscure (to me) villains from the Golden Age of comics (and beyond).

I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for more of these books. So informative and interesting!

How have I never reviewed this? Since discovering JTHM in HS, I must've read this story a dozen times.

Nny's struggles and journey is one of the best, most horrific hero's stories I've ever read.

He makes Dexter look like an amateur and Deadpool a saint.
