Backstory on The Morrigan and Baphomet. Yes please.

And we're back on track with some questions and more intrigue.

No. The bad guy can't win.


She just can't.

I loved, loved, loved this format. This issue was written like articles in a magazine. It was creative and a really interesting way to get more in depth with some of the gods.

Would have been 5 stars if one of the articles hadn't been Woden, because fuck that god!

Oh Persephone, I'm not sure you're head is on so straight anymore.

I'm really interested to see where this story goes. Was Ananke like the God King in the Mistborn trilogy? A necessity to save the world...only time will tell if my assumptions are right.

New favorite lines are all from Cassandra: "FUCKING FUCKERS FUCKING UP ALL THE FUCKING FUCKS!!!"

"You're 'problematic' like genocide is 'problematic'."

This issue was ah freaking mazing! Top notch from start to finish! Oh man, I'm so happy I can get right to #26. Because I need to know what happens next...NOW!

How was the last issue so amazing, then this one started great and ended meh.

Dammit Persephone!

OK, heading back in the right direction. Research is happening and Cass and Baal are becoming my new favs, with Persephone and The Morrigan falling down several notches.

These gods need to get it together and soon.

This was horrific and thought provoking. It was all blurred art and blurred story and blurred shifts from a reality or a mind so fractured and damaged that as a reader, it was so fucking hard to follow.

Too hard to follow most of the time, but I stuck with it and tried to understand what I was seeing, reading, and witnessing on these pages.

At the end of it, it felt like a confession ripped from someone so damaged that we (the reader) were living their hell.

This is absolutely NOT a story for everyone, and what I got from it very well may be wrong.

So completely wrong. But, it's what I felt in my core while I was reading.

It was visceral and a bit traumatizing and a lot heart wrenching.

Oh Laura and Cass...some of the most heart wrenching panels.

Fucking Baphomet has listened to the devil on his shoulder.

And the devil has a name.


Ananke.

Things are coming together and falling apart and being mysterious all at the same time.

And I'm devastated again and hopeful and vengeful.

So a lot like the gods and characters in this issue.
