This one started off slow, fair warning. It took around 120 pages to get interesting, and honestly, that's just too many pages to build a character for me. After that though, this book really took off. Unfortunately, I didn't like most aspects of it. While I'm not an avid reader of the thriller/mystery genres, I was able to guess most every twist, without trying, and that always really bums me out. I prefer to be shocked, and I just wasn't here.

An Enchantment of Ravens is a quick, fun read. I really liked the characters Isobel and Rook, and all the other fae introduced, but the plot was a little weak. Not weak enough to make the story unenjoyable, but I very wish this was a tad longer. I think with another 20-30 pages, some of the plot could have been fleshed out more.

This was such a beautiful story. I absolutely loved Addie and Henry, hell, even the devil! I thought they were all really interesting, deeply flawed characters (my favorite type). The writing was a bit flowery but it worked so well here, and this world felt so expansive. And that ending, it's the type of ending I love, the type that makes me a little teary eyed in the best way.
It was little long and a little redundant though, making it sometimes a bit boring, so definitely not a perfect read. But so close!

Freaking exceptional story! Felix is a black, trans boy living his life, figuring out how to exist in this world, finding love and how to love himself, and yeah getting a little revenge when a garbage person outs him to his entire school.
I've seen some criticism for that last part, about how he should've been the bigger person, but honestly, that path doesn't feel right for this character. He needed to stand up for himself in the way 17 year olds sometimes only know how.
I loved everything about this. Felix's journey was heartbreaking at times to follow, but I was rooting for him every step of the way!

What an incredible story! Every aspect of this novella packed a punch! The racial injustices, Ella's gift, Kev's fear, it was all interwoven into a story that was absolute perfection.

Setting aside for now. I may need to read this when I'm in the right mood, but that's not now. Felt like I couldn't follow any part of this story.

This was just the best kind of weird story. I couldn't put it down for a moment. Because of the length of the novella, anything I might talk about in depth would give too much of the plot away, I think, but Trina's journey felt very real. From start to finish, I was rooting for her in this very weird, new world.

When I read Middlegame last year, I wanted this story so bad! And now it's here, and it's beautiful! I absolutely adore Zib and Avery, Crow Girl and all the owls, and just everyone.
This novella is filled to the brim with a rich world that is so wonderfully extraordinary!

I love monster stories, always have. There's something about cryptids that fascinate me, so I'm always interested in reading books centering around one or another. And I got that here with Sasquatch!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story as a whole but found the characters (aside from Mostar) to be so frustrating and pretty unlikeable.
This is told similarly to WWZ. There's journal entries, interviews and articles, and honestly, I absolutely love this form of writing. It made the story come to life!

This book deserves all the stars, all the readers, and all the love to the end of time! It is absolutely exceptional! Every poem was so incredibly impactful and important to the story. Michael is a phenomenal character. And his arc! Fantastic!
Seriously, I have no negative comments about this at all. My only wish...my one freaking wish is that there was a sequel so we could see Michael's journey into adulthood and all of the issues that go with being gay and an adult.
