What I loved
Outside of the characters, who were so freaking Wonder to follow, the art really brought every moment to life.  It absolutely enhanced this story in every single way. It was gorgeous, and how it told the characters' emotional journey so flawlessly, was incredible.

What I loved
This was a gory, gross ghost story that's perfect for Halloween! I really liked the characters, even though a few started as bullies of sorts.  Though this could've all been avoided if one of them was honest with their friends.  The ending bit was pretty graphic, and once again, I'm thankful that I have aphantasia and can't picture anything in my mind.

What I loved
This is a stunningly, powerful collection of poems.  If you're able, I highly recommend the audio version.  Reading it was amazing but listening was next level.  Absolutely incredible!

What I liked
So after reading book 2, I know that the highlight of these books, for me anyway, are the demons.  I loved Zane!  I liked him and Juniper together, but Zane was the stronger, more interesting character to me.  Since this is pretty much a rehash of book one just in these characters POVs, there wasn't anything that was surprising.

This book, much like book 1, dragged a bit and in general I just don't think these need to be 400+ pages.

What I loved
So much!  I just absolutely loved so much of this book.  The characters were fantastically written. Particularly, Wyatt and his fiery rage.  I loved his, Briar, and Emyr's interactions and honestly cannot wait to read the second book!

It's been a while since I've been this excited about what comes next!

What I liked
Leon was the absolute highlight of this book for me. Little demon boy was a delight to read from.  This was I guess sexy for some (most romance/erotica is lost on me) and had a plot that while not perfect, kept me interested. LOVED the content warning page in the beginning of the book, and I highly recommend anyone who's thinking of reading this to look at that page closely.

It dragged a bit in a few places, and the ending wrapped up a little to tidy, but I'm intrigued enough that I'll be checking out book 2.

What I wish I loved
I really wish I enjoyed this more than I did.  It's by no means a bad book.  It was fine, really, but it ultimately wasn't for me.  I wish the side characters were more interesting, and the pacing wasn't molasses, and that it was edited down to be a bit more concise and less convoluted.

What I loved
What a perfect holiday read!  It was short, fun, with great characters, not a ton of drama, and just a good time! Absolutely loved Callie and Stefan together.  The romance may happen a little quickly, but in a novella, I'm not expecting slow burn anything.  

If you need something lighter (though there is mention of cheating and death of a parent/parents), I definitely think you should try this one!

What I loved
I loved all of the different stories, writing styles, characters, and how each author was able to convey so much in just a few pages.  This was a great horror anthology that focuses on Inuit culture, written by authors of Inuit descent and set in some of the most isolated settings.  These stories were absolutely haunting!

What I loved
The fact that it was short, gory and had a sci-fi element that I haven't really had a chance to explore in horror.  But I definitely want to! This was an extremely fast paced story, and while I liked the characters, when the bad things started to happen, all I cared about, really, was the doggo.
