I found this memoir to be completely riveting! I’m definitely not a hiker, but neither was Cheryl Strayed, and I loved this book. Cheryl’s strength and bravery was inspiring! It was heartwarming to read about good people out there that exist unknowingly - contrasted against the physical and mental challenges she faced along the PCT. I highly recommend checking out this memoir. 

So good! So so good! One of my faves by McFadden for sure. 

This was a fun read that had moments of meaningful romance. The search for gold was entertaining and suspenseful at times, which I wasn’t fully expecting, but certainly enjoyed. 

This book discusses the social determinants of health throughout our health care systems while analyzing the holes through which our patients fall. It happens everywhere, not just in Chicago.  This was a poignant read that allowed me to step into someone else’s shoes for a change. 

I enjoyed this psychothriller more thank Kubica’s “Local Woman Missing”. There were so many twists and turns! I had to re-read parts just to be sure I comprehended what I had just read! It can’t be…. Nope, that’s exactly what I read, woah! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a book you wanna read in one sitting because it’s that intriguing. 

Wow, that was deep and extremely reflective. And now, excuse me while I go obsess over how I raise my little boys in hopes that I’m not ruining them!  Seriously tho, this had lots of golden nuggets. Some of it got repetitive towards the end, but maybe they were just trying to regulate. 

Quick, mysterious read. Would recommend. 

Not my favorite book by Katherine Center, it just didn’t quite reach me.  But it was still a cute, southern love story that I’m sure others will devour. 

As a seasoned nurse in pediatrics, I found this story to be hilarious and quite realistic. Extremely different from McFadden’s psychothrillers, this book sheds light on what first year interns endure to make it to second year residents. I’m so glad I’m not a doctor. I’m looking forward to reading the sequel, I couldn’t believe the story was over already! 

Disclaimer: I read this trilogy in the wrong order by mistake, however, I think it worked! I read this novella, Maybe Not, last; but it was kinda fun to go back and read the Warren/Bridgette back story. I think I actually enjoyed it more than the other books/characters.
