I loved this book and highly recommend reading it via audiobook. The Irish accent is superb and sexy! I could totally see this book turning into a movie. I’d def watch it! It’s so sweet and full of emotion. I laughed out loud several times and swooned as well.
This was a good one! Although, not as good as it’s prequel, Part of Your World. I totally understood Jacob’s anxiety issues and loved the way he and Brianna navigated through it. Their love was pure and true and I kept waiting for them to get outta their heads!!!!
An Amish baby dies… at the hands of his mother?? No way! I was hooked from the beginning. Picoult provided thoughtful insight to the Amish culture that I had never thought about prior to reading this novel. The ghosts/spirits in the book gave me pause, but as I continued to read I could see how it worked with the storyline, tho I don’t like reading about ghosts. I always enjoy the courtroom banter in Picoult’s books and this one was no different.
This was not my favorite CL book. For me, it went back and forth too much to be enjoyable. “I love you, I’m so angry at you, I love you, I’m so hurt by you, etc” It got old fast. CL has better books out there, this one isn’t a top performer.
I loved this series!! I thought this was the final book, but now I wonder if there may be more to come. I would be totally fine with that!
This has been a super fun series! It’s quite interesting to tie the Russian Mob with a single mom/author, but it’s done so well in this Finlay Donovan series. A solid 4 stars, again, for believability. Looking forward to reading the final book in this series soon!
It’s rare to find comedy mixed with a murder mystery, but Elle Cosimano pulls it off so well! This was a fun read and I cannot wait to jump into the second book to see what Finlay gets herself into this time. 4 stars instead of 5 for believability, I kept thinking “no no no, that wouldn’t fly in real life” but I’ve been wrong before.
Same Time Next Summer was ok. It didn’t grip my heart or anything, but I was cheering for the soulmates, so it had that going for it.
Darkkkkkkk! This was a super suspenseful read! I kept going in different directions as to how it would end, and I was way off. That being said, it def held my attention and I couldn’t wait to get to the end to find out how it all played out.
The second book in the Bellinger Sisters Series wasn’t quite as good as the first book, It Happened One Summer. Hannah’s storyline just didn’t feel as believable. However, I loved her passion for music and thought how cool it must be to have a job like that! The ending was good, but the rest was kinda blah for me.
