What a fun mystery! This book made me laugh out loud while trying to figure out who done it. So. Much. Fun! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a lighthearted mystery. 

I read Daisy Jones & The Six vía audiobook and felt like I was watching a documentary on a band in the 70’s.  Each character had a different narrator/voice and it made the presentation so lifelike and very easy to follow. This was a cool book about sex, drugs, and rock & roll. 

I’m sure lots of people enjoyed this book, but I almost DNF it. It just didn’t keep me super interested/invested in the story. However, while reading this book, I enjoyed reminiscing on the best times with my close college friends, but that was really the highlight for me… unfortunately. 

Maybe it’s because this very typical family made my family also seem very typical, but I loved this book! I wish the siblings had stepped up and owned up to their own mistakes instead of blaming their sister constantly, but, that’s a typical family for ya. I would love to comment on all the things I liked about Natalie, but I don’t like to give spoilers in my reviews. So I will just say, read it, and maybe it’ll help you realize (the way it helped me), that all families have their own demons to fight.  

I read this via audiobook and I think it may read better as a physical book. While there are different narrators, the chapters tell different viewpoints of this crazy creepy story, and I found myself following along with the table of contents while listening so I could keep the story straight. 

The story was great! I saw it going several different ways and without spoiling anything, I will say I was ok with the way it ended. 

This book was ok. The relationships in the book were identifiable for me so I feel like I connected with the characters in different ways. I don’t know that I would’ve liked the book as much if I didn’t have kids and/or a spouse tho. Not Kubica’s best work, in my opinion, but it wasn’t as bad as other books I’ve read by her recently.  

Oof. This was the slowest thriller I’ve ever read. I pushed thru because I thought it would be mind blowing later on, like it just had to get better! But it didn’t. And the big twist happens in the epilogue. Not cool. 

Summer Reading was a sweet, vanilla, summer read. I was afraid it was going to end tragically at one point, but was glad the author is not as morbid as I. If you’re looking for a fluffy read, this story will do. 

What a sweet story! I really enjoyed this book by CL. The childhood innocence mixed with the harsh realities of adulthood were really well done in this book. A life lesson in communication can be found in these pages. 

This book was very confusing for me. I’d remember key elements, and then they would show up throughout the book, several times, and I couldn’t make any of it make sense! I kept hoping that as the stories progressed it would pan out and the story would come together, but it just never did for me. I’m usually a Kubica fan, but this one fell very flat for me.
