I stayed up way too late absolutely enthralled by this book!  I got butterflies. I was teary. I smiled a lot! The last 25% or so wasn’t my fave, but it’s still a solid four stars from me. I love Abby Jimenez and will read every book she writes! 

I’ve often wondered about all those David Baldacci books you see in every book store and vacation house. Now that I’ve read one I can understand why there are so many just hanging around. I felt like I was reading an episode of Law & Order. My dad prob would’ve liked this book, but it wasn’t my jam. 

Dear Sugar, I enjoyed reading the book of your favorite letters from readers and your reposes to those letters. I truly loved how you were able to weave together advice along with poignant stories from your past. I found it absolutely endearing. Yours, LD 

This book was incredibly fascinating! And it’s a true story, mind blowing. As a pediatric nurse I appreciated the medical jargon AND the fact that the author explained the terms so those who are not in the medical field could better understand. If you are someone who enjoys learning new things, or has any interest in mental health and/or neurological conditions, this would be right up your alley! I will be recommending this book to all of my colleagues. 

I truly enjoyed this story/book. It’s the first time I’ve finished a book and then went back to reread a chapter or two. I had to line things up and marvel in the author’s excellent storytelling! 

This. Was. So good! The time travel part had me questioning my sanity a couple of times, but I loved the idea behind it. Crazy to think how one action creates a whole cascade of events in the future. Read this one. You won’t regret it. 

I love a good LC romcom! This one combines a love story with reality tv fixer upper shows, including some up close and personal behind-the-scenes issues that follows any Hollywood couple. Add in some character growth and a few love scenes and you’ve got a quick and easy read that will leave you smiling. 

Another easy read by FF, and as usual I didn’t see the twist coming. (Side note: I can’t wait to write a review that says “oh I totally saw that coming!”) I typically enjoy reading about people on the spectrum. It gives me a glimpse into the minds of others and I find it fascinating. The Coworker was good if you want to devour a quick thriller. 

This book started off funny and intriguing. I thought it was going to be insightful to the life of surrogacy; and it was…. Until it wasn’t. It kind of started to fall apart somewhere in the middle and I never felt like it came back together. KC has obviously come very far in her writing and storytelling because the rest of her books have been 4-5 stars for me. This one, however, fell flat. 

Carrie Soto isn’t likeable, she says it herself.  I didn’t like her lack of sportsmanship or the pressure to continue being the greatest. This book kinda stressed me out. Sorry TJR.
