There was actually a lot of action in this book, I was pleasantly surprised!  I’ve heard of this book and movie for most of my adult life and finally got around to reading it. I plan on watching it with my husband now that I’ve read the book.

Another solid book from the Bergman Brothers(Sisters) Series. This one is about the youngest sibling, Ziggy, and how she starts to make a name for herself instead of staying in the “little sister box” that her family has lovingly made for her.

Whew, this book was HEAVY!  As a pediatric nurse, I see a lot of trauma in kids and families, and this book was right on target with its teachings/learnings. When you read this book, you’ll need to have a lot of open space in your brain and heart to absorb all of its information. There’s a lot of it!  But it’s good, and worth it.

The Bergman Brothers Series continues to get better!  I like how Liese brings medical diagnosis to life in her books and shows how people live with their diagnosis. So far, characters in this series have had hearing loss, rheumatoid arthritis, autism, ulcerative colitis, and prosthetics just to name a few. It’s been a fun and spicy series!

This was a tough read man!  I did not realize how frequently innocent people are on death row AND executed! It is mind boggling and so sad. Kudos to Bryan Stevenson for putting in the extra work and bringing light to the dark stuff that no one talks about.

Marriage on the rocks + extended family on a trip to Hawaii = allllll the drama and fun! This was a lovely story with a twist I was NOT expecting at the end. Also, I love the Bergman Family 🥰

I really enjoyed the second book in the Bergman Brothers series, more than the first book. I liked that the main female character had rheumatoid arthritis and autism, it made her more real! The love story was sweet with some spice. Hoping the rest of the series follows this trend.

So I almost DNF this book from the jump. It started off pretty smutty and I was thinking it was going to be an all smut and no plot book. BUT, it got better! A plot developed. Not my favorite book, but not horrible either.  Going to try the next book in the series to see if they get better.

This was a lottttt. There were parts that had me confused and thinking I was having a dejavú moment, then I’d remember that I read that in the “past life” of this book. Crazy. Make sure you have some open space in your brain to read this one because it requires some deep thoughts.

While reading this book, I kept thinking “what a jerk!”  How does a guy dip out on the mother of his child the day before she goes into labor??  Anyway, this was a story about a mom who pressed on and tried to find the bright side. It wasn’t heart stopping, but was a fluffy read.
