I finished this book in a day! It was so good! Had me on the edge of my seat the whole time and had some good life lessons as well. So good! 

I really enjoyed this historical fiction novel. The midwife was bad*as!  This was a wonderful story that shed light on the double standards that are often present in a society that celebrates men and shames women. Throw in some detective skills and it was a fun adventure. 

I was today years old when I realized how much I love Hilarie Burton!  Spring for the audio version, she has the coolest voice. It never got boring. So good. So so good!
