No one does a slow burn romance like Ali Hazlewood! Loved it

I liked this a lot, but maybe not a great choice for reading by myself at night lol- definitely darker than I expected. I really liked the pacing and short chapters. I love a last minute twist, but this one didn’t really do it for me; I felt like more needed to be resolved and, even though I know this was the point, I didn’t know who to believe or who the good/bad guys were

I was quite skeptical of the premise of this book- intrigued for sure, but worried it wouldn’t be pulled off well. Boy was I pleasantly surprised, a completely unexpected love story just completely made sense and I loved it. Beautifully written & the characters felt so real

I LOVED THIS! I can’t believe it hasn’t blown up, I need it to be a series ASAP. Way better than The Selection imo. Such a fascinating premise for a dystopia & I am excited to continue the series

I sometimes struggle with characters when you can’t tell if they’re truly good or bad, so I didn’t love that, but this book didn’t have me invested enough to be too bothered. It was good! & quick, which I liked. We all know I love a scammer story and this was another good one

This did not capture me in the way I wanted it to, but I enjoyed it overall. I didn’t mind that the 3 timelines were disjointed, but I wish they would’ve been written in the same tense. I liked the parallels between the 3 and enjoyed watching the mystery unfold- even though it was laid out pretty clearly.

This book was fascinating and I really recommend it- I continue to feel like I maybe should’ve pursued a career in gynecology. It’s amazing how far we’ve come in some ways, yet how behind we are in others.

I continue to find a lot of things annoying about this series but I will absolutely continue to devour it

The protagonist of this book made me so angry with some of the decisions she made, but i think she felt very accurate to what a real person would do. I really enjoyed how descriptive this was
