I just can't. It's traumatizing. I as doing okay slowly reading and putting down. Then the flashback to a certain scene was just heartbreaking. Put me in a reading slump. I'm officially calling it.

Fave volume so far. I like that we get to see the seriousness of the issues between the East and West. Plus all the dogs were cute. It's still a very ridiculous and fun story, but the world building grounds it somewhat.

I went into this knowing it was a novella. I want more, lol. My first taste of Rilzy Adam's and I want more. We need more indie authors in libraries.

This kid was a little asshole. But so was the whole class it seems. I do want to see what happens now that he is older. But I am skeptical I am going to like it. The scenarios I can imagine are not ones I would find interesting or entertaining. But I could be wrong.

So, my review is complicated for this volume. I started this series reading fan translations online. I had read the complete first arc. Obviously official English translations have come out now. I made the mistake of thinking this volume would be the start of the second arc. It technically is but not until the last 50 or so pages of this book! My friend corrected me that there will be 8 volumes, lol. So I reread a bunch confused. Then the second arc was randomly a flashback which was a bit hard to get into. Anyway, this rating reflects what's in this volume though, not the difficulties and confusion I had.

This was cute with almost no angst. Light angst. I thoroughly enjoyed how cute these guys were. Their friendship and realizing their feelings beyond that.

This was nothing like I was expecting, from the art style to the plot. I was confused a lot. But I want to know where this goes. This seems like a character study and a look into how herbivores versus carnivores are perceived.

I have no idea what I just read but I am intrigued.

Beginning the Trinity books now. It was interesting seeing a bear clan
and a changeling group not as solid as we've seen so far.

The chemistry between Silver and Valentin was great. The growing issues coming out as the aftermath of trinity is also interesting. There were some threads that weren't fully explained or not really followed up on. So I hope those two come up again in later books. Otherwise I enjoyed this as it had everything I enjoy about the other books in this series.
