although the main plot is nothing completely new, this book was captivating. the artstyle being only black and white fits so well and creates the perfect atmosphere for this gritty, dark and quite violent story. Game of Thrones is a chlidren's dance party compared how reckles this book is. and I don't mean that the bodycount is super high. it's more the way it hits like out of nowhere. Terry Moore really created something special here. something that'll give you a sick feeling, but yet is still intriguing and full of suspense.

if you're a fan of horror stories and want to try something that never compromises READ RACHEL RISING!

this exorcism story takes its time. but it's worth it. kirkman yet again takes a well known horror story and enriches it with interesting characters. this first volume is a bit like an introduction and the "real" story begins at the very end of it.
Paul Azaceta's art style is fits perfectly. I like his perspectives and thte way he draws facial expressions. Colorist Elizabeth Breitweiser finishes of with really intense palettes. mostly black and dark colors but clear and clean when needed.

"We can fix it!" by @JessFink is a fun story about trying to change your past and the mistakes you made. I giggled and smiled a lot while reading. Many of the "mistake" scenes were quite familiar with me, so on a more serious level it struck a chord, too. I also liked Fink's art style, simplistic but not simple. It fits the story and the mood of this book.

Also: time travel! *zippity zap*

After the brilliant Vol 1 the second Volume couldn't come to soon for me. And now that I finally read it, I wasn't disappointed. We get more background information about the origins of our four heroines.

I love it.
