It took me a bit to really get into this story but once a certain thing happened I was hook. I thought Knoll did a pretty decent job showing how an event like this may affect someone in the long term. Definitely check your triggers before reading--there are a lot that happen on page.

I liked the gothic vibes of this story. I was on board for the plot up until the end. There were so many unanswered questions and plot holes by the end of the story, it became a real head scratcher but not in a good way. I had trouble feeling immersed in this book and I couldn't exactly tell you why. I think it has to do with the characters. They felt shallow and predictable, and Keira was more of a plot device than a character. I wanted so badly to be obsessed with this book, but it was missing a certain je ne sais quoi.

This went off the rails and I can see why people hated it but I had a great time reading it. 

Ooof, I read this as an adult and did not like it. I can see how it might have made an impact in its time, but it did not age well. Margaret is a brat in a group of mean girls and predatory boys. It gave me so much ick so often for such a short read.

I am generally wary and skeptical about self-help books but this was actually pretty good. I don't have a strong background in philosophy but what I can gather is that Manson distilled several different threads of philosophy into something a non-philosopher like myself can put to use. 

3.5 stars. I enjoyed this. It's a satisfying slow burn romance. I found myself a bit bored at the 200 page mark but then things pick up and stay interesting after that. The end had an awesome twist! It definitely makes you want to read the next book.

This was a fun concept and I felt like McAllister executed it well. Lots of twists and turns in what ended up being a sweet story. 

Excellent! Advice provided on how to actually enact inclusion with real-world examples of how Sengeh took that advice in his own life and work. His story of helping remove the ban on pregnant girls attendig school is also an important story to be told. I'll actually be buying a copy so I can start applying the ideas in my own work.

I loved this when it was Ajay's POV but it went downhill fast after that. It felt unorganized and was just so draining to read.

I love Tori. And Nick and Charlie. The plot of this story felt like a John Green novel toward the end. The characters and writing were engaging and I binged 75% of this book in one sitting.
