I really liked this one. I am usually more of a fan of enemies to loves and sassy banter, but Daphne and Miles are just adorable. How could you not love them.
This friends to lovers has more depth than I was expecting. Along with great side characters throughout. After finding she has melded her life into ex-fiance Peter's life so much that she doesn't know who she is anymore, Daphne is starting over. Step 1: Accidentally tell your ex that you are dating his new fiancé's ex. What could possibly go wrong!?!
I do enjoy a fake dating trope.

I'm giving this one 3⭐️ for now, I honestly don't know if I liked this one or not.
It felt like a fever dream from about 50 pages on. The only way I can think to describe it is Black Swan + Mean Girls + Hallucinogenic and make it a horror novel.

Good, not great.
Slone as a main character wasn't overly likeable, Whit felt like multiple characters at some points. The loving husband to the fedup husband in just a few pages. He didn't feel believable as a character to me when constantly making comments about Slone not remembering something. The leap to well we should probably unalive her to stop the suffering felt too fast and a dramatic suggestion. Some parts felt like a slow burn, and others felt rushed. I guess I just didn't vibe with it.

I liked this one. It was very different than I expected. Repetitive times, while Nora was learning lessons, but Mrs Elm was the real MVP.
Nora was unlikable, but that didn't keep me from liking this book. It all felt like a lesson in changing your perspective to change your outcome rather than focusing on changing your surroundings or circumstances. Seeing the importance you have in other people's lives as well as your own no matter how small of a part you play.

I liked it. It is a sweet lil isolated location romance. Great bff side characters. It was fun, short and sweet
As a whole the series is 5 ⭐️ but this one took me a but longer to get into. Flipping the main characters probably had something to do with that but I loe an enemies to lovers. I love the twists and the mystery of this one.
It made me cry and gasp. The fact that this series is only a trilogy makes me angry and sad. I love these characters and I just want more.

Enjoyable but predictable
I listened to this one and the narrators did a good job. I enjoyed it but it felt like it was missing something, I found the story to be predictable. I'm not sure what it is about this one but it felt YA to me. Maybe it read too many thrillers. I'm not sure but I felt like this story has been done too many times and was hoping on a new take or unseen twist.

I didn't love this, I wish I had DNF'd it. Maybe it would have hit differently another time. I love Mindy Kaling and everything I've seen her in, i think she's funny and quirky but it didn't come across to me in this book. I think the format of the writing had something to do with but I found myself speeding through it and skipping parts.
Also does she hate Rainn Wilson or are they friends? This was confusing to me.
Pps. The bit about why she doesn't eat cupcakes...
I read this one hoping for a laugh and found myself smiling occasionally but not a chuckle in sight.

I listened to this one, it adds another level of creepy for sure.
Gives the same vibes as Hidden Pictures. No drawings but it's told from the POV of the child and it's creepy AF.
Where do you go when you aren't safe anywhere? The narrator does an amazing job conveying the panic and stress of the characters. I loved it!

The definition of a popcorn thriller as far as I'm concerned. The twist wasn't what I was expecting, but I find that is often the case with Freida McFadden.
I have some questions on how they got so lost in the woods and why they wouldn't have just followed the road in one direction or the other but sometimes you just have to ignore the plot holes and enjoy the read.
