krystlesbookclub's Reviews (400)

Had me laughing from start to finish. If you loved Vera Wong as much as I did you'll like this one. Picture 4 Auntie Vera's trying to cover up a murder all while trying to continue their jobs at a very large wedding.
So funny and silly I couldn't get enough.

Gave me the ick.
"She' receptive to my masculinity "
"Before I fall victim to his devilish charms"
I trie  to push through because of the high reviews but listening to this one was a no for me. Perhaps too much church references for me to get into I'm not sure.

Loved it! No notes.
Small town seri@l unaliver friends to lovers romance 🔥
If you like the first 2, you'll love this one too. They all overlap and intertwine, and it's great. I enjoyed Rose as a main character. The audiobook books for this trilogy are top notch but I still got the book trophy 🏆 for each of them.
I loved it and have nothing else to say.

Full disclosure, I waited too long to read the second one from the time I read the first. I spent a lot of this book trying to remember what happened. I'm sure I missed losts, but I still felt this one was better than the first.
Emilia is annoyingly nieve, constantly thinking she is outsmarting everyone else with minimal information. The love hate in this enemy to lovers is confusing and frustrating, but I sort of loved it. This one isn't smutty, but it's got spice, and I wouldn't rank it YA. Can't wait to see where this story goes.

I enjoyed this open door hockey romance. The Deal will remain my favorite of the series, I enjoy more banter in my romance reads, but this one is still good. There is some depth to the characters, but all the issues in this one felt like they could have been solved much sooner if everyone just communicated. I love a series that follows different couples but has returning favorites from other books.

I enjoyed this psychological thriller, so many ways it could have gone. There were tons of characters, so there were several suspects. I thought I had it all figured out early on, and when I started to doubt myself, I was convinced it was going to be some random mentioned at the beginning of the book. Thankfully, that is not the case here. There are just enough breadcrumbs for you to figure out who is behind the murders and just enough information sprinkled in that will have you suspecting everyone.

I was not disappointed with the twists in this one. Great book for a debut it is a fast paced read that will keep you guessing.

Loved it. Loved everything about it.
It is a rare occasion where the second is better than the first. I love the love story between this lovers to enemies to lovers.
I thought this series was a duology and put off reading this one because I didn't want it to end. Turns out a third book is coming and a prequel! I'm very excited for this story to continue, but more than that, I'm thrilled to see where this love story really began.
Highly recommend this series if you love witches, magical schools and enemies to lovers.

That first chapter really just grabs you!
With multiple POVs, you follow this story in a winding road, knowing it's all going to come together somehow and that someone has to be lying.
I just couldn't get enough of this suspenseful thriller. Morally grey Professionals have me unsure how I feel about the ending, but I am not complaining.

🔫 Sexu@l Assault
🔫 Morally Grey
🔫 M&rder
🔫 Self Harm

Addictive, fast paced thriller. I couldn't help but feel the first 150 pages felt oddly familiar, but I can't place it.
Alternating POV with the majority being of Adams POV. Adam is in search of his wife, and he's not letting anyone stand in his way.
I enjoyed this thriller and read it in one day. I could literally feel Adam's stress as I read this one. There is nothing more frustrating than no one believing you and no one helping you.

I just love a Harlan Coben ❤️

"I will never be a good man, kitten, but I will be good to you." 🫠

All the same characters from the first one but with Cat and Bennett as the mains. There was an introduction of new character Eve who fit right in and she is a BadB!
I don't love how Kindra handles Cat with kid gloves. Other than that, I have no complaints. I loved this enemies to lovers. The banter is top notch. The door are wide open and it's hot 🔥 and obviously a new food has been ruined. 🍗 I don't even want to think about it.
This one focusing more on the couple than the unaliving activities of the winter retreat but I'm not mad at it.
A third in the series is on the way, I literally can't wait! Also the nod or Easter egg to Unethical 👩‍🍳💋
