The way my eyes couldn't read last enough to keep up with the pace of this book!
The pace, the stress, the suspense, the frustration, I loved it all!
💪 The way I literally fist pumped at the end of Chapter 28! This book brought out a lot of emotions in me.
Such a good read, I'm obsessed and can't wait to read more Noelle Ihli

Part poetry, part self help, part feminine empowerment.
I enjoyed this collection of poetry. I thought it was raw and powerful.

Quick read that has a twist around every corner.
I loved it. A twisty, suspenseful popcorn thriller. I love a thriller with a mystery aspect to it that can keep me guessing.
I read this book in 2 days, I couldn't put it down the twists just kept coming and I was loving every second of it. It's not often that I like a book this much when all the characters are so unlikable but here we are.

The book that changed my mind on Abby Jimenez.
There is the loathed Insta-love trope, but I've chosen to look past that. I like a lot of spice in my romance, but if you are going to take away the spice, give me depth!
Xavier is doing the most and has gone through it. Samantha is putting her family first and holding herself together. Loved the found family aspects on Xaviers side and the family as a team aspect of Samantha's.
Samantha is witty and sunshine. Xavier is caring, and a false grump, not a true "grumpy," just hates stupid people, and don't we all?!?! the side characters add so much energy, and Hank! the true MVP 💕

fast-paced
I was hooked from the beginning, read it in 2 sitting.
Loved the first person narrative. Loved being wrong about the unreliable narrator. Loved the short chapters.
I really enjoyed this story and writing style. I received this as an ARC and somehow forgot about it. So glad I read it now, I will be reading more Pip Drysdale in the future!

Fast paced, predictable, but satisfying.
There were a few surprises, overall a satisfying conclusion to the series.
I grew to like Lor but never understood the reasoning of making her the youngest sibling. That dynamic never worked for me.
I like that Gabriel's POV was kept for this book as well. Overall enjoyable series just a little something missing to make it great. this is my favorite one of the series.

There is just something about Vera.
I love this character and her shenanigans, the one liners had me giggling. I love that all of her suspects end up as part of her found family. I desperately want to go to Vera's tea shop. Jesse Q Sutanto has found a way to make words feel like being wrapped up in a hand knit blanket with a hot cup of tea.

This one wasn't for me. I loved the first in the series and wanted more of that story. This one only had 1 minor reference of MC Ruby from book 1. That was disappointing.
This one is a play on Goldielocks. I found it to be repetitive. The constant mention of things being "just right" and "papa bear" gave me the ick.
The amount of world building shoved into a novella was overwhelming and unnecessary.
I'll continue the series, but this one was disappointing.

I'm a huge Lisa Jewell fan. It took me a minute to get into this one, with most of the characters being children and the adults being unlikable, but I ended up really liking it.
Multiple POVs give you multiple suspects and multiple scenarios to keep you guessing until the very end.
I'm not crazy about how this one wrapped up the loose ends, but at least they were wrapped up.
