4 stars - LOVE Courtney Walsh and will definitely recommend this for those that want a warm fuzzy romance. Loved the relationship between Maddie & Simon.

The only thing stopping me from 5 stars is that it’s not one that I would re-read. But I did absolutely love this book.

This is the second book that I’ve read by Alexis Hall and I think I need to accept that he’s not the author for me.

I enjoyed the premise of the book and I enjoyed the chemistry building relationship but both of the novellas felt very lack luster.

This may also be when I accept that novellas aren’t my preferred reading because I am always left feeling as though they don’t give enough time for the story to truly develop.

For those that want a good cozy rom-com, you may enjoy this one.

Thank you to Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

After reading The Book of Doors, I can safely say that I am definitely in my fantasy era.

I enjoyed so much about this book - the time-traveling aspect, the parallel universe (??), the magical doors, the fight between good and inherently evil. There were times that I found myself comparing parts of the time-travel book to Doctor Who & Sally Sparrow in "Blink" - iykyk.

I really enjoyed the writing, the various POVs, and how time travel impacted the story in just the perfect ways - once you figured it out, it was like a lightbulb was going off above your head.

The Book of Doors is Gareth Brown's debut novel and it has me excited for future books - especially if there are as unusual and captivating as this was.

Thank you to NetGalley and William Morrow for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I have always enjoyed Falon Ballard’s writing and her books and Right on Cue was no different. It was probably my favorite that she has written.

I love second chance romance and I love that this one was also an enemies to lovers situation. It was fun to read a behind the scenes during the movie filming, especially as we saw their relationship developing.

However, the only downfall of the story was the third act breakup - I hate reading breakups due to miscommunication and/or lack of communication.

Even with that, I still enjoyed the story!

Thank you to Netgalley and Putnam for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.
