I fell in love with Mazey Edding’s books when I read “Lizzie Blake” and “The Plus One” did not let me down.

Indira lost her home because her boyfriend decided to cheat on her. So she moves in with her brother at the same time that her brother’s lifelong friend, Jude, is visiting for 6 weeks to help with his best friend’s wedding.

Jude suffers from PTSD while Indira is working through some dad abandonment issues. They start fake dating for show but soon learn their true feelings for each other, while also helping each other heal from their past. Jude & Indira’s relationship is filled with some heartwrenching real & raw emotions that is navigated and written so well.

This was a hard book to read - definitely some trigger and content warnings - but it was such a good book that I would sell my soul to be able to experience for the first time.

Thank you to NetGalley and St Martin’s Press for the ARC in exchanged for my honest and unbiased review.

Invisible String is a debut from Meg Jones and has basically guaranteed that I will want to read everything that she writes.

There were trigger and content warnings at the beginning of the book and these should not be taken lightly. By the end of the book, I was wrecked and was sobbing from being on a rollercoaster of real & raw human emotions. I fell in love with main characters, along with the side characters - all of which were memorable in some way.

The new school year is starting and Olive is barely holding her head above water as she navigates the grief from the loss of her mother. She works at a public school that continues to experience funding cuts that have caused further stress. And Ben… the hot, arrogant math teacher that sheds a lot of judgment on her beloved Arts department. But then they both get hit with the news that their after school clubs are being cut. Enemies-to-lovers hits them both hard when they decide to have a one-night stand to get the sexual tension out of their system and hopefully help them work better together to save their respective clubs. Which then turns into more, which is definitely something that neither of them expected.

I loved Ben’s compassion for Olive. Constantly trying to show her support & love, but also respecting her wishes. I loved the realness with Olive and truly showing how ugly & difficult that grief emotions can be.

I would sell my soul to be able to experience “Invisible String” again for the first time. It’s also one that I will read again because the books that have such an emotional impact on my heart are my favorite.

HUGE thank you to Meg Jones for this ARC in exchange for my 100% honest and unbiased review.

Merry’s best friend (and crush of 5 years) marries her sister. In an attempt to get away, Merry flies to France to spend 3 months in an old chateau belonging to a close friend.
Much to her surprise, Noah is there too, where they go from enemies to lovers in a forced proximity, one bed story.

This was an incredibly charming story that was hard to put down once you start reading. The burn is slow but the book itself is not. Easy 4 star read that had me swooning

Ana has a list of qualities that she doesn't want in a man and qualities that would make a perfect man. However, in order to feel like she has the perfect man, she feels like she needs to date 4 separate men - Phillip, Sam, Fernando, and TJ. Meanwhile, she's working on editing to a video she's producing with Richard - a rival per say... and trying to get the attention of Landon who she thinks IS the perfect man.

While Ana Takes Manhattan was a cute book, overall, it fell flat for me. None of the characters really felt memorable and the lack of chemistry made it difficult for me to really engage or feel connected to the story. I didn't feel any chemistry between Ana or the male characters. Her best friend, Gia, annoyed me. Overall - I felt like they were all characters with no personality and no character development. I think with better characters and better interactions, the story could have been a winner for me.

Thank you though to Netgalley and Forever for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I fell in love with the characters of Vansburg, Colorado in Need S’more Time. And then I fell in love with them again in Curated.

Nellie’s writing style absolutely draws me into the story. She has a way of giving her characters personality that makes them feel relatable and so real - while still allowing them to grow and show character development as the story goes on.

Emmy is history curator who suffers from Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Ryan is a paleontologist curator who wants to be everyone’s friend.

Rivals to Lovers. Lots of spice including toys. Forced proximity. And a sweet story between someone who feels constantly broken and someone who wants her to realize that she’s perfect just as she is.

Now I’m impatient for Phoebe and Declan’s story!

Thank you Nellie Wilson for the gifted ARC - the review is 100% my unbiased opinion. I would feel this way even if I bought it. (And I’m definitely ordering a physical copy)
