Normally I love the enemies to lovers trope - what is better than witty and snarky banter, mixed with sexual frustration.

However, I really struggled with loving The Unbalanced Equation. Their relationship felt more toxic hatred to toxic relationship than enemies to lovers. With the exception of Liz & Tom, Jenny & Jim, the characters were easy to forget and difficult to connect with.

I know that this book got a lot of love, but unfortunately it fell flat for me. I couldnt' get past the toxicity of the characters. If it wasn't for H. L. Macfarlane's writing style (that kept me captivated), I would have only given it two stars, but it deserved an extra star for the writing style!

Thank you to NetGalley & BooksGoSocial for this ARC for my 100% honest review.

Meet You in the Middle is a debut novel from Devon Daniels.

It's your typical enemies to lovers trope, but the nature of why they are enemies is one that is not done very much.
Kate is a dedicated liberal while Ben is a classic conservative - both working in Politics and both willing to debate their strong party sides.

I absolutely fell in love with Devon Daniel's writing style. It felt very expressive and gave a clear picture for each scene. I laughed out loud during so much with the banter and the witty characters. I didn't feel like the political nature of the book was too much (although I do find politics intriguing, while hating to debate it) and the liberal/conservative head butting was tastefully done.

I listened the audiobook version and the narrators were absolutely fantastic! I absolutely cannot wait for more books from Devon Daniels.

Jo Kingsley planned her life - she was planning for a promotion, she was planning to get engaged, but she was not planning on losing it all.

So when she loses her job, her boyfriend, and her apartment - she does what any sane person does. She goes home to find herself.

Long away Home is the third installment in the Midnight in Dallas series and is absolutely my favorite. I love Liv & Jax, Cash & Ella, but I adore Jo & Derek. I love how the encourage each other to do what makes them happy & no matter what, their family is will stick by them through & through.

Melissa Grace has created this amazing family built of life long friends and she shows all the best parts of Nashville, TN throughout her books. I love her writing style and the stories that she has created.

Now to wait patiently for the stories about Dallas & Katie and Luca & ???. I can’t wait to read them

Meredith lives in solitude, with only her cat as her daily companion. She has experienced a lot of trauma and with the help of her therapist, her sister, her best friend, and two new friends, she works through the trauma of her past.

This should come with trigger warnings of (attempted suicide), self harm, depression, and sexual & domestic abuse.

But as someone who struggles with her own mental health, this book was healing. I absolutely loved how the story was told & the characters were absolutely beautiful. The character development was very well done, and it was so easy to fall in love with Meredith.

Freya Mayor as the narrator told the story just beautifully and really captured the emotion in the story.

Huge thank you to LibroFM & Hachette Audio for an ALC in exchange for my unbiased and honest review.
