Chloe and Peter have a rivalry that runs deep - right to the family. Their families own and run competing restaurants in the local mall - because of this, Chloe and Peter just don't like each other.

But then they find out that the mall is getting ready to close and condos built in it's place. It's up to Chloe and Peter to work together and save their family restaurants.

This is a YA book and while it takes place during the Christmas season, I didn't get strong christmasy vibes. However, I love the author's writing style and it was overall a very cute story. The characters were really well developed and it was fun to see them also grow.

Rated 3.5 - I enjoyed reading it, I would definitely recommend it to a YA crowd.

Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Fire for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Ren (Irena) is spending some time in Paris when she has a very dangerous meet cute with Sacha. Ren is a heiress while Sacha is a history professor. Unfortunately, Ren is directed to return to London due to news of her breakup going very public. It's only natural that when Ren needs a reason to stay in Paris, she convinces Sacha to pose as her boyfriend. However, they only have a very short time (21 days) in which they can spend time together.

This is a slow burn with closed door implied sex. Ren and Sacha were beautifully written characters that you just wanted them to be happy and admit to falling in love with each other. I loved Ren's growth as she became someone who no longer felt the need for public attention and lavish goods, but instead understood the richness of experiencing the world and understanding Sacha's love for books and history.

I especially loved the incorporation of the french language. It helped make the story feel even that more romantic & beautiful.

Huge thank you to NetGalley & Boldwood Books for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
