Thank you for Netgalley, the publisher, and Peter Doggett for providing me with ARC copy of "CSNY". I did not grow up listening to Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young but was curious to find out more about the members of this iconic music group. I was curious to know how such a short lived group could be so famous.
I have to admit that this book was not to my liking. I gave up after the first chapter. I lost interest in going further. I think this book is more for long time fans of CSNY and have more knowledge of the group and their beginnings. For a novice to CSNY, I was expecting more of a narrative introducing the band members from the beginning of their music careers till present. I found the information provided scattered & unfocused leaving me no interest in pursuing this book further.
I hope that fans of CSNY will feel different to make this book successful.

Thank you to Max Allan Collins, Thomas & Mercer, and Netgalley for providing me with an ARC of "Girl Most Likely". This is my first reading of book by this author.
Krista is the youngest police chief in the nation working in her hometown of Galena, Illinois. Her father, Keith, is a retired police detective. Keith has come to live with Krista following the death of his beloved wife, a local school teacher. Krista's ten year high school reunion proves to be deadly when one of her former classmates, Astrid, is killed. Krista and Keith take on the task of solving the identity of the killer. There are many suspects as Astrid had dated several of the men in their class.
I had received an uncorrected copy of this book. I will have to admit that the many grammatical and writing issues that were not corrected threw me off from liking this book more. Also, the plot of the story was interesting at first but then felt like it was rushed towards the end. However, there was some interesting parts where you thought you may knew who the killer was but the ending was a bit of a surprise. Overall, I was not overly impressed with this book and thought it was just okay. However, in saying that, I would be interested in reading more from this author to see if I form a different opinion.
