I enjoyed reading this book so much. As a mom of two children the process of having a relationship with your significant other to having children is something you really can't plan out precisely but you learn to love each other and each munchkin you bring into this world. The first time I saw my first born both my husband and I said to each other that we made this together. I would highly recommend this book. I cried, laughed and giggled, and hoped for things to work the way that they did.
I enjoyed the characters and the vibes that the story brought but I felt like the overall story of Lightlark needed to be worked on more. The ending felt rushed and I had to go back to read some information again because all the information was dumped on us all at once.
I enjoyed the characters a lot as well as the story. The only problem I had was the main conflict between Iris and Eli being unclimactic. I understand it is a miscommunication trope but I wanted more. Great cozy read!
I love how we got to see characters from the other trilogies in the last book as well as an introduction to the main character in the next trilogy in The Dark Artificies it makes me want to read more about them. The Mortal Instruments as a whole I enjoyed reading the first book and the last book of the series more than the entire series so excited to continue the shadowhunter adventure.
I enjoyed this story a lot. Tanya reminded me of myself being younger and adventurous. A magical backyard with fairies and other creatures would have been fun to walk into. My daughter made a great choice for me to read for summer vibes.
I enjoyed the characters the plot twist and the cliffhanger at the end definitely makes me want to continue the series.
