A little slow to get going, but a quick cute read. There's some sensitive topics (cw below) but I think they were handled well. A good 3-3.5 stars, I'd read more from this author.

CW: PTSD and emotional abuse from previous relationship

2.5 stars. I had been looking forward to this story, but it was my least favorite so far. Definitely taking a break from the Bridgertons after this one.

Ehh, I thought the story was compelling but the writing wasn't very strong. I've heard great things about the author so I'll reserve judgement until after reading another of her books.
