Quite odd. I've read a review somewhere that The Timetraveler's Wife was an outlier for Niffenegger, and after reading a couple more of her books I think I agree. not that he other works are bad, but they are very different in style and tone.
Very cute book. Made me cry a couple times. I'm not usually into audiobooks, but LMM was a great narrator.
Overall I really liked it! Despite minor criticisms (below, with spoilers) I would definitely recommend it.
I have two criticisms. One, though it's effective at pulling at heartstrings and a reality for some people, I hate the trope of violence against queer characters. Given earlier events in the book, I think it was unnecessary to the plot here. Two, the ending felt very rushed. The revelations and conflict of the last two short chapters could have been stretched into another full section of the book.

Absolute favorite part was Mindy reading fanfiction she had written about a different version of herself. If there was a whole book of that I would love to read it.
