An fun read for fans of Star Trek. Underwhelming to start, but enjoyable once the Narrative set in. I found the writing a little lazy and the codas unnecessary. If it wasn't specifically catered to my interests it wouldn't have been worth reading.

A very unique book. A bit difficult to get into due to the format, but easier to understand once I realized it was meant to be read as a play.

Ehhh. Based on the book description the story could have been so interesting but it just wasn't executed well. Things just happened without a lot of meat holding it together. I don't feel like many of the plots were well thought out or really tracked as to why things were happening. And at the end the story just dropped off.

I tried to read another of Atwood's books a couple weeks ago (Oryx and Crake) but had to stop due to both content and writing style. I loved The Handmaid's Tale when I read it last year though. I think I will probably avoid her modern fiction from now on.

I first read Richard Siken's poetry in connection with Supernatural (the last verse of 'You Are Jeff') and it's impossible for me to separate the two now. It evokes feelings of forbidden love and the nostalgia of something I was deeply into a decade ago. Very good poetry, best read aloud. Will definitely be keeping this for a re-read.
