kitaface's Reviews (605)

This book was chosen for a book club I am in and I am glad, because based on the description I may not haven chosen it on my own.

I enjoyed the shifting character POVs and resonated most strongly with Helen and Madoka. My least favorite were Mireille and Yoshi.

I am not good at book reviews! 😅 Hopefully I will get better at this as the year goes on.

Fascinating book. Such an interesting concept and a total page-turner, I couldn't put it down. It was at times a little hard to follow but felt worth it, I look forward to reading more books by the author.

Despite the length, a surprisingly fast read! Very good and very sad, made me tear up a bit. Nice to read a story with Deaf protagonists!

Concerned about Jamie though... does he actually have a father? I kept waiting to hear he was a runaway too.
