Great story, a little slow in parts but the narrator (I listened to an audiobook) breathed a lot of life into the characters with his voices. Not sure how it could be made into a movie, but it makes for an interesting read.
Nice to listen to, found myself drawn up in the story and listening at every moment I could. Better than the first in the series, though more gruesome. Looking forward to the next one.
I didn't love this one, the mystery was good, but the secondary story of Robin and that horrible fiance of hers was SOOOO frustrating. The cliffhanger ending was intriguing and the 4th book in the series will hopefully find a better balance.
Horrible, the movie was cute and I thought I would listen to the story on a lark. Big mistake. The plot was awful, not at all like the movie and I couldn't stand the main character. Not worth your time.
Really liked this one. I figured out the ending before it was revealed but it was a really well written look at bullying, domestic violence and family values. Looking forward to the HBO series.
Great story. Poignant, incredibly well written. The author has a gift with words. It was not the typical WWII story and I appreciated that. I can't say I enjoyed it so much as i was captivated by it. Would recommend it for sure.

I'm not usually into non-fiction, but I was so intrigued by this mysterious woman. Spanning 160+ years it was amazing to see the world this woman and her family inhabited through the decades. Definitely worth a read!
Hard to read at times, particularly when things are made "right." I really felt for both Hannah and Tom, Isabel not so much. A good read but not sure I get what all the fuss is about. I could take it or leave it.
Not my favorite of the series, too much of it was them apart or on the sea. Still, a fantastic book and the characters continue to have me enthralled. I loved learning more about Brianna and look forward to the rest of the series!
