Transmigrating into a Mob Character to Rehabilitate the Villain Plan

杀小丸

DID NOT FINISH: 87%

Dnf'd in volume 3 because I'm just done. Vol 1 was fun though literally none of the characters really acted their age except the original protagonist. Vol 2 is where my difficulties with this story started because the ML is somewhere around 14-15 and the MC is 19-20. The ML starts doing a hella lot of dubcon and noncon shit, which eventually culminates in him literally threatening/attempting to murder him to force the MC to be romantically involved with him.
Then in vol 3, both of our characters are finally adults and our steel straight MC agrees to be in a relationship with the ML and they have sex. The MC is in literal pain and bleeding for most of it and it just isn't fun. I'm disappointed and over trying to force myself through this. It's not worth it.

 A transmigration & reborn story
that actually isn't really either; it's time travel!
that was entertaining and I definitely liked the big twist in it but it didn't really blow my mind. Had some good moments but I actually had to go read other reviews just to remember what I thought about this story because I literally could not remember anything about it beyond the fact that I liked the twist and it's only been a week since I finished it

An interesting story about revenge for cheating. I kind of wish I hadn't read the extra though because it makes it pretty clear that the new boyfriend was a stalker but overall, I liked the story. I don't like cheating and I don't care how sorry the original boyfriend was when his relationship crumbled, that wasn't a one-off accident. He carried that affair on and so did the best friend. Screw them both.

For such a short story this book really found a lot of ways to irritate me. Within the first couple of paragraphs our MC has confessed that he was "turned homosexual" because after being assaulted by a woman he was afraid of all girls. That is 1000% not how that works and I really thought the world had, for the most part, moved past that nonsense.
Secondly, the MC changed pretty much everything about his life to match up with his new partner and what he wasn't willing to change, the ML pretty much forced him to, and the MC was like, well it's for love! But like seriously... he's not allowed to do anything that isn't something the ML is into and the ML is not into anything. Apparently. There is pretty much nothing that's balanced about the relationship between the two of them. It's all pretty gross.
I had one really truly furious moment there where I thought this story was going to be a condemnation of asexuality and push the idea that it can be cured if you just find the right doctor (i.e. your asshole boyfriend who you aren't even sure actually likes you) but thankfully it didn't go that route and it was probably the only part of this entire short story that I genuinely liked where the ML told him that there was absolutely nothing wrong with him and he was still perfectly happy to be in a relationship with him and he would only look at potentially methods of curing him if the MC himself was unhappy with who he was and wanted to change.
On the other hand, pretty much immediately after this whole bit, the MC is suddenly incredibly thirsty for the ML and tries any number of methods to seduce him so... you know. I have no idea what the hell this story was trying to say. I'm not saying that demisexuality is not a thing and it could be that the MC is demi and just never knew because he'd never met the right person, but there was no questioning it or anything. We just went from him being really concerned that the ML wouldn't accept him for being ace to suddenly, the MC desperately wanting in the ML's pants and nothing about his previous identity or understanding of himself was ever brought up again.

Anyway, TL;DR the story is weird, the ML is a boring dick who pretty much forces the MC to give up everything enjoyable in his life, and I do not recommend it. To anyone.

A fun little Gary Stu comedy story about an up and coming developer who accidentally finds himself working for Hell to help them modernize their services and the shenanigans he gets up to with the Ghost King of Luofeng Mountain. I had a great time reading it for the most part but the constant introduction of new services/clients got a bit tiresome and I did end up struggling to drag myself through the last 40 chapters of so. It had a good conclusion though and was enjoyable.
