i’ve had this on my shelf since january and i didn’t pick it up until now because i was afraid of being disappointed after the mixed reviews I heard, but wow do i regret waiting over 4 months

it’s definitely my fault but i didn’t feel as connected to the characters as i wanted to be 💃 but still a banger

this was definitely a book ! idk man it was just so plain and simple it felt like middle grade (in a derogatory way). i think the only reason why it’s rated ya is because of the gore 🤨 but still ! just because a book is ya doesn’t mean the characters can’t have dimensions or that the book has to be simple 😞 L

i fucking hated this so much it’s actually quite sick.

i’ve never had a book that has made me want to gauge my eyes out and melt my brain simultaneously to such an extreme.

i fucking hate magnolia and bj. they’re so childish and intolerable, it makes me want to bang my head into a wall.

I wanted to dnf the book 10% in and i really wish i did because this book was one of those books that made me hate reading. the past six-seven days i’ve woken up dreading having to get through this book. i did not think it was humanly possible for me to hate a book more than i hated it ends with us but here i am.

i kept repeating to myself if i could give this a zero stars I would, and apparently I can, so here I am.
