I absolutely fell for this book. The meet-cute, the banter, the friendship, “cupcake”, the love between the two MCs. All. Of. It. Brody and Val are just perfect for each other and the way they care for each other gives all the feels.
Val is navigating her grief of losing both her parents and planning to leave right after graduation. Brody is trying to figure out how to make his dreams come true with his abysmal grades while also trying to live up to his father’s expectations. They are both just what the other needs and I loved watching their relationship turn into so much more.
A fantastic read and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. Thank you Jessica for the ARC!!

This book was wholly unique and just the romance read I was looking for. The premise of this book is like nothing I have ever read and I absolutely loved that about Sadie's story. Her growth and the way she navigates through everything is so admirable, I enjoyed getting to know her as well as the other characters.
Except Parker. Parker was a lot.
I was pulled in from the beginning and I really loved the overall storyline and the twist at the end!
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

This was the SWEETEST romance and I fell head over heels for the main characters. The chemistry between Ari and Russell was just so heartwarming and Russell is the ULTIMATE book boyfriend.
The way he speaks to Ari and supports her and loves her and the way Ari returns that love despite him being so self-conscious of himself is all so amazing. The representation of therapy, anxiety, overthinking, body image, the whole nine yards is woven into the story so well. Everything mixes well and it's not overwhelming to read.
I do think the book could have benefitted from a dual POV. Seeing Russell's side and what he's thinking and feeling, I think would have elevated it even more.

This audiobook was a great overall listen. I enjoyed the unique storyline of hoarding and the struggles Darcy has faced directly related to that made it an interesting read.
I do think a few things weren't necessary in the book, the side romance with Asher felt a little forced and more of a plot convenience that didn't really need to be there. I did enjoy seeing Darcy try to face the relationship struggles with her mother and her grandmother. The way she navigated her mother's hoarding and then realized she almost had something in common with her mother was a great realization to see as a reader.

I was so intrigued by Saint in the Fable duology, I was so excited when I found out he was getting his own book. I loved seeing his motivation for everything and how he came to be the daunting figure he is in Fable.
The perfect prequel to the perfect duology. The audio was fantastic.

This wholly unique storyline was the perfect novella that I absolutely devoured. McLean continues to dominate with her writing, her wit, and her magical stories in the city of Chance.
I loved seeing the characters navigate their telepathy and getting to know each other through their minds was a fun plot to follow.
