Unreliable narrator, a mystery that needs solving by memories being put back together. Extremely vivid depictions of domestic violence which I didn’t expect to be so horrific!! Very readable and addictive but also predictable!

Another brilliant crime thriller from this author. The island itself was really creepy and the perfect setting for the murders. A well crafted story and I liked the addition of Steed!

This was one of those books where I thought I was going to stop reading (slow to start!) and then all of a sudden I was 300 pages in. A gruesome set of murders and a menacing setting, likeable and unlikeable characters. 🗻

Always love a crime thriller from this author. Kate and Tristan are a brilliant team and this was another excellent case. I did guess the outcome shortly before it was revealed but I still loved the fast paced mystery!

So I started reading this before the Queen died and then it felt weird to read it! A good book about the royal family and scandal! Great characters, a decent mystery. Will definitely read more from the author. 👑

I thought this was another very clever mystery from Hallett. I enjoyed the way this was written as transcripts - it would be brilliant to listen to! The ending did surprise me but also didn’t blow me away like I hoped. 🐟

There is something about this book and the characters which absolutely captured my heart and soul. Sadie and Sam’s life story is beautiful whilst also heart breaking. I don’t have enough words. ❤️🥺🕹

I flipping LOVED this book! I adored Lily and her journey to discovering who she really is. Oozing with body positivity, lush relationships, a wonderful single Mum and so much more. Lily’s story had everything I needed! 💙💙
