Whilst I wasn’t immediately drawn into the plot of this novel, it didn’t take long before Lisa’s beautiful writing had me emotionally invested in Lo and Rita’s story. Glimpses into circus life and a heartbreaking end. 🕊

A slow burner to start but this definitely became jam packed full of action in the second half! Loved being back in Deka’s world. Such brilliant characters and I loved how the plot of the story twisted and turned. 🧡🗡
