Probably my favorite YA that I have read this year. Fun and sad at the same time.
It was cute and well written, but it wasn't personally compelling for me.
I had started to see very mixed reviews on this book, so I was concerned I wasn't going to like it. However, I ended up being pleasantly surprised. I can understand what other readers have said about throw away philosophy lines and how it's a bit pretentious or trying to be more than it is. The story is good, though. I liked watching Nora, and I wanted the best for her.
This was super cute. I loved a new, self-aware take on Mamma Mia. The characters were super likable, and I also loved all of the musical theater references.
I just don't like mob books. I gotta stop reading them. And next time I just need to quit instead of forcing myself to the end.
This book was an odd one, and I'm honestly not entirely sure how I feel? I think 3 might be overly generous, but I definitely don't want to go all the way down to a 2
