I love when the second book in a series is as good if not better than the first!

Jennifer Armentrout has once again woven a spellbinding tale in A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire. This is the second book in the Blood and Ash series and I was taken on an exhilarating journey filled with danger, intrigue, and spicy romance.

What truly sets this book apart is its ability to surprise and shock. Just when you think you have it all figured out, Armentrout throws in unexpected twists and turns.

I really hated the MFC's in this book both were just stupid. They couldn't get out of their own way but I suppose they're written this way.

The Drowning Woman by Robyn Harding is a gripping and twisted tale that delves into themes of friendship, retribution, and betrayal. The author's skillful storytelling and engaging plot make for an enjoyable read that keeps the reader hooked until the very end.

The complexities of human nature, showcasing how people can be both victims and perpetrators simultaneously. This adds a compelling psychological depth to the narrative and keeps the reader guessing about the true intentions of the characters.

While the story was equal parts annoying and captivating, the twists are well-executed, there were moments when certain plot developments felt slightly predictable. The Drowning Woman, to me, is a thoroughly enjoyable read.
