This was just ok for me. It was slow. It’s pitched as a fantasy romance but I would say it’s not really a fantasy world more of a magical realism type book. I did like the concept of the tulips and how that worked.

Small town, thriller. I just happened to read Shaw Connolly Lives to Tell right before this and it had a similar plot but not as good. The mystery is interesting and a little bit predictable, but still good.

It’s full of adventure and Egyptian mythology with a dash of romance. Can’t wait for the next book!

This series was a wild ride! One of those “you wish you could read again for the first time” kind of books. There were so many layers to this twisty serial killer series that made it so good. If you like psychological thrillers and haven’t read this series, put it to the top of your TBR!
