Genre: YA Fantasy (Time Travel)

Conclusion to a time travel fantasy. I enjoyed this series! There was more romance than the other two books and it was less time travel and history.  I was a little confused in the explanations towards the end because I had waited so long in between books and didn’t remember everything. 
   If you like time travel adventure, this series is fun!

Genre: Thriller

2 women get on a plane for two very different reasons and both disappear. The only connection is one guy. 

I listened to this on audio & and really enjoyed the cast. It kept me immersed in the story and I couldn’t stop listening. I finished it in one day! It was really twisty and I thought I had it figured out until the very end! Great debut!

My only unrealistic gripe was with Jasmine…. She could do all this in the span of a week but yet couldn’t figure out how to leave ber abusive boyfriend for years 🤔

Genre: YA Fantasy Adventure 

Loved book 2 as well! It’s fast paced and has 5 POVs that seamlessly flow together. There is a recap in the beginning in case you don’t remember how book 1 ended. I could not put this one down! 

Another cliffhanger! 

Genre: Paranormal Romance 

This picks up right where the first one left off. It’s a little slower than the first one & it has more spice. A few questions are answered but there are still so many questions. Again leaves off with a cliffhanger.

Genre: YA Fantasy

A Deadly Education meets One of Us is Lying with a dark woodsy vibe. It starts off a dark academia book but then shifts to a survival story which I liked better than the school part. I listened to it on audio and really like the narrator. 

Genre: True Crime

I listened to this on audio and it was really good. I like looking up where the people are now after I finished it. The things the mother did were wild and it’s crazy how long it went on. 
     Kind of reminded of the fiction book Darling Girls 

Genre: Mystery Thriller

A nanny is found dead and a journalist who is part of a group of posh mothers starts to question if her death was really a suicide. 

This is told from the POV of the dead girl leading up to her death and the journalist in the present. I liked how it bounced back and forth and you slowly got little clues revealed. It was twisty and you were not sure who to trust. I did not want to put it down. 

Genre: Dark Paranormal Romance

This is the first book in a series I have been seeing all over and I finally read it! 
   If you like Zodiac Academy & Savage Lands you will enjoy it. There is little to no romance in this one however it’s more of a build up for what’s to come.  
     At first I thought I had missed a prequel because I had no idea what was going on other than it was reverse harem. It was giving me The Ravenhood series vibes minus the smut. 
   Once I got the plot it was addicting and fast paced. There are a ton of secrets and unknowns by the end and it leaves off with a cliffhanger.

Genre: YA Magical Realism

If you like Wilder Girls & House of Hollow, you will enjoy this one. It is the sequel to Bittersweet in the Hollow but I think you would be ok reading it as a standalone because they explain a little about what happens in the first book. 
     It is very atmospheric, set in the mountains in an isolated town.  Small items begin to disappear, memories vanish, and a neighbor is found dead. Poachers are suspected, but it seems that it could be other worldly. 
       
      The main female character has the ability to smell if someone is lying. She is reunited with a character from the first book to help solve the mystery. There is a dash of romance but it’s not the focus at all. 
    
     I actually liked it a little more than the first book and enjoyed the dark atmosphere of the book.
