Book 1 in the start of a middle grade fantasy series. 
In a seaside town where almost everyone is granted an ability from the tide, people are being taken in the night by mythical creatures. When a girl’s father goes missing, she is determined to use her ability to change faces to find him. 

Fast paced, fun story with a few twists. One mystery remains at the end setting up for book 2.

Genre: Dark Contemporary Romance/Thriller

I picked this up because it is being turned into a movie & I have seen it all over TikTok. 
     The first 30% is an edge of your seat thriller… a couple is being held captive in a basement. Then it turns into a romance and how they cope with the PTSD of the trauma. 

I liked the thriller part the best and can see why it is going to be a movie. It crosses a few genres so the audience for it  is going to be vast.
