Interesting, and I learnt things I didn't know about writers I'd heard of, and a little about others I knew nothing about. Not my favourite format, and I would have liked more depth.

Issues of identity and purpose intertwined with family history and legacies. I got rather lost in all the politics, but still an enjoyable enough read.

Enlightening and Poignant. Sometimes a bit hard to keep track of on audio - might have been better on the page. Very descriptive, and the point f view of the child main character was brilliantly handled.

Enjoyable and twisty.

Brilliant and immersive with characters I really cared about. Atmospheric writing that drew me in. I guessed the gist of one of the mysteries, but the other was a surprise. So many twists and turns! A top 10 of the year contender.

An enjoyable addition to the Chalet School canon. Nice to see some new characters as well as some familiar ones.

Fun to re-read this after reading "Rosamund", but not one of my favourites of the series.

A lovely addition to the Chalet School series, filling in some of the gaps in "Redheads" and making some of the plot holes in that book slightly more credible. Good characterisation of Rosamund herself.
