This is a quick-paced, full of adventure YA novel. Heather was only 16 when she wrote it, and she did an unbelievable job! The story centers around Brooke, a high school senior who is embarking on a senior class trip with her closest friends, including Peyton, the boy she is crushing on. When their plane crashes, it's a fight for survival as they end up stranded on an island.
⠀⠀ I felt like this was a novel where your worst fears and nightmares are played out. It's a page-turner with strong characters, teenage romance, and hard-hitting themes. I could hardly put it down.

If you're looking for a starter guide to goal setting, making life changes, and becoming a better you, I recommend You Deserve More by Jill Hartzog. Bonus: She's a Canadian author from the Newmarket area.
