Just not into it. 

Finding myself not interested in the story and overwhelmed by the characters’ names and drag names and keeping it all straight. 

I am not liking the tone of her writing, and I just don’t care about the characters at this point. It’s like reading a stupid romantic comedy movie. 

I’m just not interested in this right now. It’s definitely a wrong book, wrong time, me problem. 

Fantasy just isn't for me. I found I was losing interest and the motivation to pick it up. 

I am already confused by all the characters. No thanks!

Just feeling bored by the writing and confused by all the characters…

Kate Quinn’s writing is too slow and drawn out for me. I just don’t feel like I can make it another 350 pages and enjoy myself while reading it. 

Sadly, I just am not interested in all of the dog sledding commentary. I’m also not a huge animal lover, and I just find I’m not interested in reading about Marie. The only parts I enjoyed were the brief mentions of Calla and Jonah.
